for us difficult to understand but obviousely for the actual governing talibans in afghanistan a normal thing, the superiors of this strange movement (internationally called also government) ordered the dsestruction of the ancient art of the counrty or at least of that what is left from all wars the country suffered. among those art belongs for the humanity important artifacts of ancient times, statues of buddhas, statues which are not yet clear to whom to be attributed, etc. it seems confirmed that in kabul two third of the ancient artifcats are destroyed already.

fortunately the afghanistan foundation in muttenz-switzerland, with the help of the former major shareholder of la roche pharmaceuticals, has documented the great artistic heritage of this country.

the ex king /family of afghanistan, living in exile near rome-italy, has lost any hope that the country could turn back to normal. they fear that the russians and the americans have divided the country for the purpose of controlling central asia(n) petroleum / pipelines. iranian intelligence report increasing influence of both in this country. a bloody war won for nothing?

we shall not forget that afghanistan is an et related country and perhaps the talibans are afraid of the ongoings of our time.
