I am not a lawyer but have a far greater knowledge than most from training and study. This entire ordeal is so full of holes, improper motions, wrong venue, wrong kind of judge, no jury trial, and inability of attorneys to present proper evidence, it is a total sham. Now I must wonder what was the real deal?????
At best, we have seen a half hearted effort to save Terri that borders on incompetence or worse. I am seriously beginning to wonder if this event has not been a sham of sorts from day one.
The right questions never came up, the proper motions, never made, and the true facts were never presented.
A suit over custody should have been launched years ago and have been a jury trial, which as we know, was never done. That would have changed the venue and a jury of 12 would have given custody to Terri's family under the circumstances.
Under a trial such as that which would have merrited a different judge, all evidence of abuse could have been presented, all testimony of abuse, all testimony that Terri could respond, eat jello, and all that would have been on record for any future court hearings and could not have been refused as evidence.
Michael would have been blown away in a jury custody trial without doubt. With the friends of Terri as witnesses, discovery motions, the latest and best test run on Terri that could have been mandated by lawyers representing her interest (there were none representing her in this matter), and all medical evidence which would have shown broken bones, the possibility Mikey the creap hit her on the head causing harm, and any other evidence pertinent to the case would have been in a public arena.
This whole flippin deal stinks now more than ever. Someone dropped the ball completly.
