And, now, U.S. Troops are on the move.
Col. Hackworth issues this urgent warning in his recent email. The world seems it might be heading soon into the planned
World War III.
NEWS BRIEF:
"War is in the wind. But you wouldn't know it if you get your
news from Brokaw, Jennings and Rather.
Here's the skinny: The Israelis are leaning forward in their foxholes. Their troops are locked and cocked, and their logistical types have been roving the world with checkbooks at high port, buying bombs and bullets aplenty." ["Hack's Column", by Col. David Hackworth, 2000-01-31.
We have reported on several aspects of this coming Arab-Israeli War, using my analyst training in U.S. Military Intelligence.

In December, I emailed Col. Hackworth with the gist of the war preparation signs I had listed in these articles, and asked him his military opinion. Col. Hackworth emailed me back, saying I
was absolutely correct, and to keep him informed of anything else I might see in the future.
In this online column, Col. Hackworth finally turns his
attention to Israel, and provides interesting and relevant detail.
Let us look at this opening statement, quoted above.
First, Co. Hackworth colorfully reports what we informed you of in December, 2000. The Israelis are now fully mobilized -- their troops are "locked and cocked" On December 12, 2000, the Syrian High Command issued the order to fully mobilize their entire armed forces.
On December 13, Israel followed suit, calling up her first tier of Reservists to active duty, a process that takes 72 hours to
accomplish.
Thus, by December 16, Israel had fully mobilized her active
reservists. At that time, she planned to systematically mobilize her various tiers of inactive reservists, so that, by March, 2001, she would have them in uniform and fully ready; however, reports from last week indicated that Israel had moved up this March time frame, so that, by the end of January, she had them fully mobilized.
This reality seemed to strongly indicate that the Israeli High Command expects war to break out before March.
Consider some of the pertinent war preparations, imminent war signs if you will:
1. The IDF has fully physically separated the Palestinian communities [Read NEWS1434 for full details] so that the House of Esau can be annihilated in fulfillment of Obadiah 15-18;
2. The IDF has military control of all the roads connecting these Palestinian population enclaves; thus, she can
militarily control the Jewish and Palestinians civilians in such a way that, when it comes time for the annihilation to occur, no Jewish citizens will be killed.
3. Israel has reinforced her northern border with Lebanon. Several weeks ago, news reports informed us that Israel had moved 100 tanks to the northern border, with Lebanon.
This is a very large force of tanks and of the infantry to support them.
In the paragraphs below, we report on the most recent Israeli action on the Lebanon border, an action that might provoke
Syria and/or the Hizbollah guerillas into attack.
With this as background, let us review the information Colonel Hackworth has to share with us. While we have been reporting the mobilization of Israeli forces, and the obvious logistical preparations for war, this is the first time we have heard that
the IDF is buying extra ammunition and bombs, the cost of such a buildup of munitions being no deterrent.
Truly, Israel seems to have decided the immediate future does include war. Now, consider this recent news story, of
Israel taking a bold step of defying the United Nations by violating a border with Lebanon:
NEWS BRIEF: "UN condemns Israel's latest border violation with
Lebanon," , By Robert Fisk in the Wazzani river valley, southern Lebanon, 2 February, 2001. "With the naked eye, you can see the yellow bulldozer and the long trail of dust as it pushes the foundations for a new frontier fence north into Lebanon. The Indian UN soldiers watch it through fieldglasses.
'How can we tell how far it will go?' Major Chhahal asks. 'They've been doing this work for three days, right on the edge of Gaghar'.
It all looks innocent. But it is not. Just days before the elections that may turn Ariel Sharon into a prime minister, the Israeli army is building a new border fence on Lebanese territory, and in clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 425."
Israeli Prime Minister Barak ordered the abrupt withdrawal
of IDF troops in Lebanon almost a year ago, a controversial move that simultaneously outraged sane thinking Jewish citizens, and emboldened the Palestinians into thinking that Israeli leadership was sufficiently meek and timid that combined Arab forces might be able to strike to kill the Jewish state once and for all time.
Now, this same Barak has ordered the construction of a new border fence in Lebanon, right under the noses of United Nations observers!
What is going on here, you might ask?
Throughout these past 9 months, Barak has seemed weak and timid in both rhetoric and in diplomatic negotiations, but has taken hard-line military and police activity against the raging Palestinians.
Barak seems to speak softly and timidly, but has put military iron in his velvet glove. Listen to more of this Lebanon
story:
"The UN has condemned the 'violation of the Blue Line,' the UN's own south Lebanon frontier beyond which the Israelis agreed not to go. The Hizbollah guerrillas who hounded the Israeli army out of Lebanon less than a year ago, and who have their men watching scarcely half a mile away, are well aware of what is happening in Gaghar and of the excuse it gives them to strike once more at Israeli troops ... it looks as though the Israelis are willing to violate the UN's demarcation to mark a border at least 150 feet inside Lebanese territory. Because they cannot run barbed wire through the village, the Israelis call Gaghar a "soft underbelly" on the Lebanese border, through which guerrillas could infiltrate into Lebanon. Already, Israel has violated the blue line by sending ambush patrols into the northern, Lebanese
end of Gaghar at night."
Now, the situation is getting clearer.
In the past few months, we have heard that the northern border with Lebanon was considered to be wide open to Hizbollah guerrilla attack.
One IDF general even boldly stated that the dirty little military secret was that Hizbollah could march into Israel through the northern border any time they wanted to do so.
Perhaps this new security fence is designed to prevent just such an attack.
However, as this story indicates, this new building project could provoke Hizbollah into the kind of an attack that might precipitate this newest Arab-Israeli war, the war that leads to the planned World War III that is supposed to lead to the appearance of Antichrist [Read NEWS1056 for full details]. What kind of fence is the IDF building?
It is quite the fence:
"... earlier this week, [U.N.'s] Major-General Obeg's adviser, Timur Goksel, took a helicopter along the blue line to look for himself. Flying over the gorge of the Wazzani river, he hovered over the construction. 'They are putting in concrete foundations to 50 metres [inside Lebanon] in what looks like preparation to extend the line northward,' he said. 'The Israelis are creating another point of friction along the border'."
"How far will the new fence stretch into Lebanon? In all, it might take in several square miles; big enough to cause a major crisis in southern Lebanon. Meanwhile, beyond the soft waters of the Wazzani, over the long grass and buried minefields north
of the village, the bulldozers roar on. In three days, the UN says, it will have a better idea of where the fence is going. Until then, Major Chhahal and his men go on watching. So do the Hizbollah.
"Therefore, the IDF is building a permanent "fence", with concrete foundations, 50 meters inside Lebanon, giving both the Syrians and the Hizbollah guerillas a perfect opportunity to
attack. Both Arab and Israeli military machines are nearly fully geared up for attack.However, even as Israel seems to be finalizing her plans for all-out war, America is taking action unique in our historic relations with both Arab and Israel.
We are continuing our build-up for regional war in the
Middle East, as we prepare to defend Israel against the Arabs! In no previous war between Israel and her Arab enemies have we actually committed American soldiers to combat on the ground on Israel's defense.
We seem to be taking exactly this type of preparation today. Listen to Colonel Hackworth again as he describes America's preparations:

"Now the USA is rushing to the rescue:
* All our Scud Busters -- Patriot missiles -- in U.S. Forces Europe have been quietly deployed from V Corps in Germany to Israel. But while we're providing that troubled country with theater missile-protection, we've left our soldiers stark naked, unable to stop a single Scud. [Emphasis added; 100% of our Patriot Missile defenses have been stripped out of Europe and sent to Israel]
* Our ground combat forces in Germany -- a complete armored corps -- have moved out into the field 'to train'. An insider there says, 'Training, hell. We're contingency planning for a fight in the Middle East.'
" Colonel Hackworth continues:
"The deployment to Israel of the 69th Air Defense Brigade -- complete with all its Chem/Bio protection gear -- and V Corps'
current war games, both began last month on Bill Clinton's watch. The Bush bunch was presented with the problem on Jan. 20."
From an analyst's point of view, the Clinton Administration had to have been in sync with the incoming Bush Administration on these preparations.
As an example of such cooperation, news reports indicated that U.S. forces, Europe, were scheduled to go up one notch in alert status in the early morning hours of January 20, the very day Bush was inaugurated.
The timing of this increase in alert status is such that Bush had to have been informed, and had to have signed off, on this event.
When Bush actually became President, he did nothing to change the alert status of U.S. forces in Europe. In the next sentence,
Colonel Hackworth confirms this is the case.
"Bush the Younger signed off on the Patriot deployment plan last week ..."
Neither did President Bush cancel the desert training of our forces in Europe.Interestingly, WorldNetDaily gives the perfectly reasonable military rationale for the deployment of all our Patriot missile units to Israel.
"Looks like establishing a secure air corridor is first," one source added, hinting that the Patriot deployment would provide air cover for follow-on forces before they were deployed."

"Sources said the only unit missing from the operations -- both of which are being called 'training,'" one source said -- 'is the 69th Air Defense Brigade,' a Patriot missile unit reportedly aboard ship earlier this week bound for Israel, which is scheduled to arrive Feb. 4 or 5 -- right before Israel's hotly contested Feb. 6 election for prime minister." [Ibid.] Now, that makes a lot of military sense, as ground forces being deployed to the region would have to secure air space above and around them as they deployed.
Ground troops disembarking off ships are uniquely vulnerable to attack, especially an attack from the air.
Remember that Patriot missiles are effective against both aircraft and missile attack. (CONT.)
