concerns, forcing nations to engage in a

environmental standards. " From AP Recently I heard KeyCorp was to dump 3000 by the end of the year...y2k? or downsizing?

Although these are very important, something is being skimmed over.

Another argument is the fact that these men are virtually unknown, they are not elected officials in any way...especially concerning the USA. Who gives them the power to make these kind of decisions?

Also, does anyone else see the recent HUGE mergers of Banks and large media corporations as a precursor to the WTO's future plans?

These men are deciding trade solutions and business trade rules without any representation of the people (those guys that work here..!) or a vote for some or all of the policies affecting the American people. They also seem to be catering to the mega-corps that, years ago, were only heard of in sci-fi stories.
