5,000 Years Ago Today
It find it humorous that so many people defend their sacred cows with such a passion and fail to see the obvious.
First I wish to point out that The Truth does not change like you change your underwear. What is True is always True. It was never not True. The myth that Truth is changeable is a big bamboozle, a hornswoggle, a hoodwink and has confounded human thought for thousands of years. Just because "times" were "different" in the past, doesn't mean people were "different". To perpetuate this baloney is convenient for the deceivers but has serious and sinister consequences for Humanity.
5,000 years ago it was inappropriate to defecate in your drinking water. The same holds true today. 5,000 years ago washing your hands frequently was a good thing. The same is true today. 5,000 years ago being kind to your children was a good thing. The same is a good thing today. 5,000 years ago growing your own food was very important. Today it is still important.
5,000 years ago treating women like cattle was a very bad thing. It is still a bad thing. 5,000 years ago having sex with children was an evil practice. It is still an evil practice. 5,000 years ago buying and selling human beings was an evil thing to do. Today it is an evil thing to do. 5,000 years ago it was evil to sacrifice animals, two-legged and four-legged, to a so-called "lord". It is evil today. 5,000 years ago it was wrong to profit from another's misery. It is still wrong today.
5,000 years ago someone noticed that a certain group of people were heading in the wrong direction and told them to stop their evil deeds. "Thou Shalt Not..." they were told. Did that stop them? No. The Law was intended as a guide, but those who lacked the intelligence and the ability to govern themselves have made it into a monolithic, profit-generating machine. It is nothing but a mockery and instead of using it to elevate the Human Spirit, it has been used to degrade and weaken the Human Spirit. The fact is the Law was only intended for those who did not already possess it. This was True then and it is still True now.
No one needs to tell me not to kill anyone because it is not in my nature to do such a thing. No one needs to tell me not to covet what belongs to my neighbors because I don't want my neighbors things (or husbands). No one needs to tell me not to lie about others because I wouldn't think of it. No one needs to tell me not to place anything before my love of God. It is unthinkable to put anything above my Divinity, my Humanity, my Love of Good, my Love of God. In other words, all those laws are wasted on me. The Law is basic to my Nature. It's like trying to tell me to breathe. Why bother. The only ones that have to be told to breathe are already brain dead. I am The Law, I live The Law, I do not need it imposed on me from outside because it lives within me. I am not separate from it. Who needed all those laws of Moses? Criminals!
No one needs to tell me that violence in children's cartoons is evil. I know it is evil and I do not do it. No one needs to tell me promoting junk food to children is wrong. I know it. I do not do it. No one needs to tell me that war is evil and harms every living Being not only physically, but emotionally, spiritually, mentally, materially, psychologically, educationally and in every way. I know it. War is spiritually revolting. No one has to tell me this. I refuse to engage in it. I refuse to support those who engage in it. I refuse to be silent about it.
No one needs to tell me that promoting women as erection stimulators and semen receptacles is evil. I know this. Isn't is obvious? No one needs to tell me that human beings need to be loved their whole entire lives, from the moment they are conceived until they take their last breath. I know this is so. No one needs to tell me that ignorance and poverty is wrong. Isn't it obvious? No one needs to tell me that polluting our air and water is incredibly stupid. No one needs to tell me not to cut down all the trees. I wouldn't think of it. I know these things! No one needs to tell me that it is evil to create systems that separate families and tries to come between a mother and her children. I know this in the depth of my Being. No one needs to tell me that a rose is beautiful either!
In 1969 I wrote: “It is wrong to create a desire in someone for something you will not freely give.” It was true then and it is still true.
