Sorry, I just don't buy that. My objections are based on gut instinct, Christian morality and Ancient Taoist teachings. These last two have stood the test of thousands of years...unlike the "I'm OK, You're OK" transpersonel pop psychology that you cite. Whether this pop psychology is around in another thousand years, or whether it's been consigned to the waste bin of history, is another matter entirely.

However for those of you who are unfamiliar with Taoist teachings it should be mentioned that they are the theoretical foundation for much in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the martial arts. And these are but two aspects of life in China that have been influenced by Taoist teachings, there are many more.

Although they were remarkably open minded regarding sexuality, nonetheless the Ancient Taoists were deeply suspicious of male homosexuality, or as it was known "Dragon Yang Syndrome." Their suspicion's were based on a number of factors; foremost amongst these is the fact male homosexuality is completely at odds with the natural symbiosis as expressed between man and woman, ying and yang, darkness and light.

In plain language homosexuality is simply a deviation of a natural principle. Which is probably why it is so evident in various black occult ceremonies; after all anything that goes against the natural order of things, the "way things were meant to be," serves the purposes of much darker designs. And by that I don't mean that we should persecute homosexuals: it's their problem and they have to deal with it in their own way.

As far as I'm concerned though the "I'm OK, You're OK" pop psychology that you cite is a complete anachronism. In other words it should have been ditched in history's waste bin way back in the 70's.
