Thinking about several recent postings:
= Depicting two men in public toilet stalls is not "immoral" unless the human body and its normal operations are "immoral". It is certainly of questionable taste (and questionable intelligence), and certainly motivated by "love of money" at some level, but doesn't necessarily merit a horrified singling-out. If anything, single out the ever-growing presence of sex "in the marketplace" where it does not really belong at all; and the prominent featuring of violence in media. Then ponder what it must mean to live in a society in which on-screen killings are "entertainment" but the unclothed human form is still considered "a major no-no".
= I think the mechanics of fulfilling prophecy probably involves the long-term repeated emotion-charged focusing of the consciousnesses of many human beings on "a future of a particular shape". Job: "Lo, that which I feared has come upon me." Was it dawning on him that his fearing it might have played a part in its appearing in his world? I think it's probably all right, might even be an essential, for at least some of us to "witness" the presence of darker plans and actions in our world. But I would strongly question the rightness of "promoting fear" based on our witnessing. It seems to me it would be critical to remain "anchored" to what is higher and what is right (which is also present at the same time and is at least equally part of "reality"). In this way we would be to some degree "in the world but not of it" - participants in worldly living, but not "under" events that are occurring in the realm of creation, and not "nourishing" dire outcomes by focusing our energy into the fulfilment of what is feared might happen.
= The Great Pyramid, I've read, originally did have a glistening crowning stone at the top, not necessarily what we might think of as "a jewel" but glistening for some reason. It's theorized that that part of the pyramid was made-off with by would-be robbers, fairly early on. The "stone that was rejected by the builders" will likely prove to be more symbolic than that, and may indicate either particular people or qualities of heart and spirit that have in recent decades or centuries been deemed to have "little value in the 'real' world".
= There is no "Constitutional Crisis", no matter how frequently our media utters the phrase. I suspect most people actually know this, and the likelihood of disassembling the Constitution remains much more slim than any planners might imagine.
= Yes, the economy is in very deep trouble. However, not reported in the news, there is evidence that someone realized we were on a "slippery slope" several decades ago, and began taking action that would bear fruit at about this time. We recognize that there are "players" affecting world events for dark reasons we probably would not agree with. Why is it so hard to accept there are other unseen players also affecting events for reasons that we probably would agree with?
= Many are expecting "a Second Coming". It may be mistaken to expect that this event will occur as "one individual, clad in human form", as happened previously.
= Seeing God in all of Creation is not "paganism" or "pantheism" unless you go nuts and start worshipping all things (including, say, plastic fruit :). God is omniscient not because of a really excellent cosmic telephone system, but by virtue of being omnipresent. He hasn't gone away and left human beings here to fend for themselves. Likewise, there's no indication that the Garden was ever removed from Earth; rather, that human beings were "driven" from the experience of it, apparently due to "eating of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil". This may mean human beings ceased trusting in God and that God was with them, and began to base their living on some ideas about what would be "even better" (the fruit of knowledge of good) or necessary to survive without God's help (the fruit of knowledge of evil) than the original design and plan (the fruit of the Tree of Life). This suggests that the restoration of the experience of the Garden in human living is only a hair's breadth away for any who will but allow it.
= The Hopi are not the only ones who recognize and say that this is an extraordinary and privileged time to be here in human form on Earth. We might do well to contemplate the possibilty that those in human form and here to read these words are profoundly blessed and have been given a great gift.
Peace be unto you.
