I remember that all too well. There was speculation that a dirty nuke from one of the regimes on the oil fields could start a fire that could never be put out before it caused a nuclear winter and froze the planet provided it ignited the underground fields. It would have at least made it almost impossible for oil field workers to work there due to the radiation.
The oil residue contaminated farm land throughout the Arab countries and into China which lost crops and caused contamination of farm land. I wonder if the Chinese forgot about these events? I doubt it, don't you?
Ah, the chances we will take for Pennzoil and British Petroleum!
I am sure they have a burning desire to return some of the Karma very soon!
