I think Allen and Gates are aware of the bad times coming. For the past year they have both been selling like crazy. Gates has been donating a lot to charity to improve his public image, probably a bit late though..

I am still puzzled over the nearly 20 point jump after this bad news of possibly lost source code. The only thing I can come up with that makes sense is MS is buying back large blocks of stock at a low price, perhaps thats causing the upswing. Very weird for a stock that has been in the toilet for at least 6 months.
