I am not aware if the news of this severe weather has been on American TV, but the scale of it is quite incredible, spouting the biggest overall floods in the country's recorded history. There is much controversy on the subject, with notions towards global warming as the cause. Cold this be a mask to hide a lie? Do metreological weapons exist, and is there any reason for a power to use them on Britain.

Maybe I am jumping to conclusions on this, but the concentration on the press side of it has made me wonder, and the politicians (John Prescott e.g) simply divert from the subject and instead choose to say how our infrastructure is to blame for the events. This is true, perhaps, nearly 70% of the population here live in floodplains. Still, it seems the government are desperate to push public opinion one way.

Still more rain is forcecasted for the next few days.
