It has long been a problem for people who speak English or French to translate things from Arabic into either of those two languages (or, into any Romance language).

Under the spelling of "Umarite" we find one reference to a type of Arabic poetry, the citation in brief being given below. However, by changing the spelling to "Omarite," a single page pops up from the web site, palestine-info.net: here is the complete URL of the article as posted there on August 7th, 2000:

The piece in question claims that the Rabbinate of Israel wants to build a new synagogue contiguous to the Temple Mount --
