Can anyone give a factual, verifiable definition of what Left and Right are? I don't think it's possible. Many times the definition of Left and Right is in the eye of the beholder. The beholder most of the time is the Media or political parties so they can sway the people in a direction that they want the people to go. Below is a diagram of how the Right and Left has changed since the 1960s.
In the 1960s the Left and Right were pretty clear. Yet, as you can see by the diagram, the Right line has progressively gone left as the years have gone by. From the 1960s to 1988 we saw the Left with their Socialists, Communists, Abortionists, Homosexuals and anti-American types and the Right with their pro-American, anti-Communist, pro-life, pro-God ways. The moderates were those somewhere in the middle of these views.
From 1988 to about 1992, the Bush Administration brought us a kinder and gentler conservatism which really meant conservatism going socialist. George H. W. Bush told us twice about our lovely New World Order! George Bush brought our Right line to the 60's moderate. So, to be in step, the propaganda ministry, the media, talked in terms of the old left and the new right line. (Notice the Left line never moves). Anyone who speaks right of new right line is made to look like a fanatic or is ignored.
Then Bill Clinton enters the picture, and between he and George W. Bush, have forged the new Right line which goes somewhere between the 1960s Moderate and Left. This new Right line today is the biggest farce pulled on the American people by the two-party system, and the propaganda ministry (media) brought to you by the League of Corporations. Again, the media from this new Right line makes those who talk to the right of it, fanatical, or they are ignored. This way the League of Corporations can set their agenda through the two-party system, media, and puppet government without having anyone protesting without looking anti-government.
In the 1950's and much of the 1960s we were taught about Right & Wrong. We learned about God and put our religious instruction in our every day life. This made a person an asset to no matter which occupation he or she selected. Yet, today they have taken prayer out of schools. They not only separated God from government but also are trying to take God from everywhere and everything.
What these people have done is clever but simple. They replaced Right VS Wrong with Right VS Left. Instead of talking in terms of what's right and wrong they talk in terms of Right and Left. This will be the downfall of America, if it goes on much further. Remember, Right and Left are terms that can be defined differently by anyone! The terms right and wrong were sent down by Moses from Mt. Sinai. Its our choice which terms to live by but the terms Right from Wrong is simple, clear and true terms to live by, whereas the term Right from Left is ambiguous, which complicates life with lies and injustice.
