The RumorMill's posting on 11 August regarding the "Declaration of Anti-Semitism"...by M.Seely, Said it In a Nutshell.As Americans,(ALL of US)we have the Right and blessed privilege to speak our minds and have our Opinions. I,personally was raised in the great melting pot,New YorkCity around varied Cultures,specifically,the Jews...and German,Irish,Italian,Spanish some Chinese & Negroes(BLACKS).12yrs of the Parochial school system of the 50's,then 27yrs in the USMC. I've good memories of the Jewish AMERICANS I grew up with,played stick-ball with,swam "B.A" in theHudson, &(mainly)Harlem rivers with;and disagreed about baseball teams with.The Thing that impressed me the most about my jewish buddies was,& is their Family solidarity.I sure didn't see it in the Irish.The big thing was,when choosing Sides for a game on a hot Summer's day you were"chosen"by how Well you played the game.And we all got mad(frustrated)with each other,and called each other Names. Nothing ever came ofit..we loved each other--in a fraternal Way! Two points:1.The JEWISH WAR VETERANS were Denied a Postage Stamp in Honor of...etc.So was Lieut.Gen.Lewis B.PULLER,USMC...5NAVY CROSSES.Do I Need to say Anymore? 2.Thomas Cahill wrote a book on the Jewish Culture's contribution to Civilization;I strongly Recommend it.Finally:there's Uncommon, common,trashy,and reprehensable People in every Culture;in every Generation.Seely's feelings are his,..and many others;I'm sure. Not mine,though.I Know"what"the real focus of venom,anger,and vilification should be,but"it's"very elusive,and uses us mere mortals to spit,in the Creator'sFace. M.Seely's had some poignant,on-target pieces on Rayelan's message board.The one about the Chosen people, is only marginally correct.It made me sad,reading it. EVIL seems to have the playing field with all of us at one point,or another.One Day at a Time;keep ourselves together;Situational awareness;compassion.None of us are getting out of this(world)alive.Don't throw your"Vote"in with the dark side,and it's BOSS,the eternal "It"...Close Ranks,re-direct your focus on the real enemy folks;it ain't "the JEWS"; it ain't the CATHOLICS,either.It ain't WOMEN,FAGGOTS,LESBIANS,orPOLACKS,the JAPANESE,or the PUERTO-RICANS.NOR is it NATIVE-AMERICANS!What's happening to Us as a Nation?! I've never seen such shit in a serious, official vein!in my Time.In my Country.
