Who is this Dr. Gerry Brady, and what does he think gives him and his followers the right to try to manipulate the "sub-conscious urges" of people on a mass scale? This sounds like some sort of mind-control program, and should therefore be opposed and resisted.

Yes, presenting "challenges" to irrational beliefs can be a good thing - if the irrationality of those beliefs can be publicly demonstrated in a way that is obvious, that openly and unavoidably engages the conscious mind. Eventually, over time, the subconcious will go along. But trying to subtly manipulate the subconcious of large groups of people without their conscious awareness is extremely unethical, I would call it an inherently evil thing to do, regardless of the objective.
