Here is the text of my recent letter to the Jerusalem Post which is also posted at George Soros' Open Society Discussion Forum:

'Global Citizens:

It is apparent that now is the time for the establishment of
a revolutionary peace accord in the Middle East; a lasting
peace accord which could be celebrated and diversified in
areas which are not entirely limited to the body politic.

Between now and September 13th, the People of Jerusalem, Jews and Arabs alike, will be confronted with the precedents that are to be set in terms of behaviour in a Jerusalem divided. Is there to be an invisible wall established between Jews and Arabs; a wall which becomes a veil of secrecy that creates and foments an 'us
versus them' atmosphere?

Is there to be merely historical tension or a novel; lasting;
proactive peace in Jerusalem?

One of the human behaviours that visibly breakes apart peace accords is violence. If mediation is the diplomatic tool used for the final agreements in the establishment of neighborhoods in Jerusalem then, why can't mediation also be directed at the alleviation of self harm and violence.

There is an effort to establish a "A Global Project for
Personal Responsibility" ( bridgetothefuture.org ). The
basic premise of this effort is:

"This project for personal responsibility intends to influence the mass human psyche/sub-conscious on a global scale by presenting it with a concerted series of perceptual challenges over a long period of time.

These persistent, subtle (and not so subtle) challenges will occur for no apparent commercial, religious or political reason. This lack of conventional motive will ensure their attention in a world saturated with messages.

The ultimate aim of the project is to move the human condition towards one where self harm behaviour due to sub-conscious urges is minimized and eventually overcome altogether on a global scale.

The basic premise of the project is that the sub-conscious urge for self harm is the single most powerful cause of most abnormal human behaviour.

In my opinion, the Jewish and Arab People of Jerusalem have a window of opportunity to show the world that they can get along; that they can become exemplary of a Peace that will be slowly become Global; and that the there will come a day when the last person on Earth is killed by directed violence.'
