I don't mean this to become the Israel Watch List - but maybe since that is where I see destiny happening, it can't be avoided in some ways.

A couple of hot items today.

For the first time I have standard media confirmation that Chinese President Jiang Zemin and US President William Clinton will be meeting at the Millenium (Global Governance) Conference in September.

Any world leader who is a world leader will be there. This as the Chairman of the UN says is the largest gathering ever planned of world leaders.

As you know, I expect an event such as has never been before since the beginning of history, nor ever shall be again to occur in July (or earlier or later) to make this Conference effective. Otherwise it will just be more talk, talk, talk.

LONDON (May 29) - Analysts are warning of a full-scale war between Israel and Syria following revelations Palestinians are being trained at camps near Damascus for attacks on Israel from Lebanon.

Prime Minister Ehud Barak has reportedly alerted Western governments to the threat of such attacks, according to the Sunday Times of London yesterday.

He has also warned Damascus that Israel will retaliate against the 35,000 Syrian troops currently deployed in Lebanon, the paper reported.

Some criticism by some readers saying that Israel never said they were forced out of Lebanon. No - that is the claim of the Hezbollah and the rout at the end made it pretty obvious that it had become too expensive in lives to stay.
