Here are some current factors to consider regarding the Lion of Persia (Iran):
The majority of the military forces readying for an attack against Iraq are on, near, or in the Persian Gulf or Afghanistan, of which both border IRAN, not Iraq. Take a look at this deployment map of US forces in the Mid-East: PERSIAN GULF MAP LINK
In the 1991 attack on Iraq, roughly half of the US naval battle groups were in the Red Sea and the other half were in the Persian Gulf, but now they are all assembled in the Persian Gulf.
The enormous base construction and large build-up of air force and ground troops in Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman, and Kuwait (all located on the Persian Gulf directly facing IRAN) began in October 2001, not 2002.
Take a look at the current US bases in Pakistan and Afghanistan and note how 2/3 of IRAN is surrounded by US-Allied military: MIDEAST DEPLOYMENT MAP LINK
In Turkmenistan, which is most of the remaining 1/3 border with IRAN, the entire country has come to resemble a restricted zone ever since a gas pipeline linking Turkmenistan to Pakistan began construction late last year. Turkmenistan openly opposses IRAN's Caspian Sea oil drilling.
In late 2001, IRAN, Iraq and Afghanistan were the only Asian-Mideast nations who refused to pledge any kind of support for Bush's purported "War on Terrorism": COALITION MAP LINK.
Afghanistan is no longer a member of this list, but we all know how Bush took care of that.
IRAN is virtually surrounded by opposing US-Allied forces en mass. The blue pill media wants the world's eyes on Iraq, but the red pill truth is that the US-British war machine surrounds IRAN, the Lion of Persia.
The real target is IRAN and the excuse is the exact same as was used for destroying Afghanistan. Bush said only 3 days ago that IRAN "pursues weapons of mass destruction and supports terror."
The Prize for those who control Bush? Iran is OPEC's second largest oil producer and holds 9% of the world's oil reserves and 15% of its natural gas reserves.
Almost all of Iran's huge oil reserves are located in giant onshore fields in Khuzestan, near the Iraqi border and Persian Gulf. Two years ago, the giant onshore Azadegan Field was discovered - one of the largest found in over 30 years - only a few miles from the Iraqi border in Khuzestan. It is believed to contain 5-6 billion barrels of recoverable oil, with potential production of 300,000-400,000 barrels per day.
Now take a close look at how the majority of the US military forces are perfectly aligned with IRAN's oil and gas fields: IRAN OIL FIELD LINK.
