The Loral corporation is a company that is listed on the NYSE and has a net worth of over $2 billion dollars.

Historically this company has developed ultra secure communication equipment for the US government. It has had a very checkered past, from mob connections in the 1970's, to congressional scandals, to the recent political contribution concerns, and now this missle technology transfer to China...The missing encryption cards -- after the rocket failure in China.

I was always puzzled why this so called American company that dealt with our ultra secrets for communication technologies (like for NSA) was incorporated in Burmuda, a foreign country.

Well, a friend of mine answered it for me yesterday.
