Youv'e gotta admit, this guy's got brass ones. Presuming he can distinguish between "organized religion" (for the weak minded sheeple and cowardly busybodies, et al) and actual devotion to God, he might just succeed in kicking the federal "nanny" out of the nursery. Then Americans will be forced to grow up and take responsibility for their own actions--as opposed to behaving like spoiled teenagers at 35 y/o, exercising cheap rebellion within "safe" limits, and expecting "big daddy" to clean up the mess, drive you to the free clinic, and provide unconditional support and security. An arrangement which will either be corrected carefully and deliberately, or catastrophically self-correct.

Decriminalized prostitution and drug use: the last bulwark of morality droping, you say? Or just government realizing that it cannot regulate the un-regulable?

The record shows that whenever people have real freedom (as opposed to the "freedom" of socially engineered, regulated, approved and mandated moral relativism), they rush to choose corruption, BUT it is the only environment in which the right path CAN be chosen.

And I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone in this forum about Kennedy.

Bottom line: you can't please (or control) everyone, and Gov. Ventura knows it.
