Here is yet another communication from the informative and diligent Linda Muller regarding her ouster from the Buchanan organization:

Dear Brigade,

I've spent most of the night and today reading your letters of condolence and I promise to personally answer every one of them. I always knew how many people were on my Brigade list, but always wondered how many people actually read my posts. It's great to hear from so many Brigadeers, not only in the USA but also from around the world. It has been tough going through them because I'm finding myself feeling nostalgic for the "good ol' days" already!

I want to cover a few points that I might not have made clear in my last email to you. Since so many of you mentioned them in your emails to me, its probably better that I comment on these to my entire Brigade list.

EMAIL ADDRESSES: 1. My email address is: linda@buchanan.org -- it is not my "campaign" address, it is my personal email address and I still receive all email addressed to it.

2. I do not receive, nor have I ever received email addressed to the campaign address - linda@gopatgo2000.org

3. If you send mail to my address - linda@buchanan.org - it no longer goes to anyone in the campaign, so its best to send campaign related documents and news articles directly to them.

4. Also note that since the passwords were changed last week I can no longer receive email sent to my linda@theamericancause.org address. All email sent to that address now goes to their webmaster.

BRIGADE LIST: The Brigade list is my personal email list, I have owned and maintained it for 5 years. The campaign now has a new email list run by their webmaster and you can join it by visiting their home page. A while back I was asked to give all of the names on my Brigade list to the campaign so you may have already been subscribed to their new list. You can make sure you are subscribed by filling out their form at http://www.gopatgo2000.org. There is no info on how to unsubscribe, but I guess they will add that later.

Of course, all of you can also remain on the Brigade list, but I probably won't be sending out very many emails for a while.

If you would like to be removed from my list send me an email with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. If you have friends who want to be added to the Brigade list ask them to send me a note with "subscribe" in the subject line.

MOST IMPORTANT: I guess I need to restate this to make sure that it is clear to everyone, but it is important that you do not place any blame on Pat. He counts on Bay and his senior staff to run the office. Bay made the decision and the senior staff support Bay - that is why they are senior staff!

Pat has more than enough to do leading our effort and running for President. He cant be expected to micro-manage his campaign headquarters too. I don't believe he knew Bay's real reason for firing me and I doubt he will ever be told about all your calls and emails jamming into HQ, so please do not be upset with Pat.

I'm going to get back to answering your mail but it will take a while, over 800 have come in since last night and they are still streaming in.

Thanks again to all of you. I am so grateful for your concern and encouraged to know that you thought my work had some merit. You have helped to lift my spirits and I'm beginning to look forward to whatever new adventure the Lord has planned for me.
