A DROUGHT FOR THE AGES

That is what USA Today selected
for a headline for a June 8th story on the southern States and their continuing drought:

here is a snippet from the story as posted by Patrick O'Driscoll

As summer starts, half the nation is either abnormally dry or in outright drought from prolonged lack of rain that could lead to water shortages, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor, a weekly index of conditions. Welcome rainfall last weekend from Tropical Storm Barry brought short-term relief to parts of the fire-scorched Southeast. But up to 50 inches of rain is needed to end the drought there, and this is the driest spring in the Southeast since record-keeping began in 1895, according to the National Climatic Data Center.

Coast to coast, the drought's effects are as varied as the landscapes:

In central California, ranchers are selling cattle or trucking them out of state as grazing grass dries up. In Southern California's Antelope Valley, rainfall at just 15% of normal erased the spring bloom of California poppies.

In South Florida, Lake Okeechobee , America's second-largest body of fresh water, fell last week to a record low — an average 8.89 feet above sea level. So much lake bed is dry that 12,000 acres of it caught fire last month. Saltwater intrusion threatens to contaminate municipal wells for Atlantic coastal towns as fresh groundwater levels drop.

In Alabama, shallow ponds on commercial catfish farms are dwindling, and more than half the corn and wheat crops are in poor condition.

Less than two years ago the entire country -- the world -- was awe-struck by the ferocity and intensity of Hurricane Katrina. The storm, which first crossed Florida and then seemed to dance around in the Gulf of Mexico, intensified very rapidly to a Category 5 event and headed due north towards New Orleans.

At the time, some experts on Scalar Electromagnetic weapons speculated that Katrina was "being steered" and that a Scalar weapon was being used "to pump up" the storm's energy. This remains a most controversial assertion but everyone now knows that two things about Katrina are true: it was a huge, well-organized hurricane and that government at all levels failed to provide adequate emergency management for the event, and that recovery efforts from Katrina are still lagging.

DID HURRICANE KATRINA BOUNCE OFF NEW ORLEANS OR WAS IT STEERED ?

In the last hours Katrina seemed to veer slightly to the east and made its second true landfall over the Mississippi coast near Pass Christian ( on the west ) and Bay St. Louis ( east ). Technically it crossed some land areas near New Orleans but it roared ashore on the Mississippi side of the area. It then moved almost directly north, while packing enormous amounts of moisture and wind sheer and spawning tornado events.

Rumor Mill News has recently obtained a series of photographs from a photographer in Magee, Mississippi, who's identity remains anonymous. They are used here under Fair Use provisions.

THIS IS ONE VIEW OF THE KATRINA STORMFRONT
APPROACHING MAGEE IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI

AND HERE IS ANOTHER VIEW FROM MAGEE

On a personal note, I have lived through a fair number of storms, including Hurricanes Carla and Alan in southeastern Texas and Hurricane Gloria when it hit New England. I've seen three days of rain ( Carla ) and in Tropical Storm Claudette, it rained so hard that it was literally difficult to catch one's breath for a time ( that storm dropped twenty-two inches of rain on Harris and Galveston Counties in Texas over about six hours, and floodwaters reached five to six feet locally ).

However -- never in any of those major storms that I have witnessed or experienced, have I seen a cloud formation like the one which displays below, again from Magee, Mississippi:

THIS PICTURE PROVIDES A SENSE OF THE ENERGY POWERING KATRINA
EVEN WELL AFTER MAKING LANDFALL ON THE COAST OF MISSISSIPPI

So far, in 2007, areas of central Texas which are normally considered to be "semi-arid" have received record amounts of rain ... while the marsh lands and swamps of Florida are now tinderbox dry. In New York and New England there has been a reasonable amount of rain, but there have been several dry summers in previous years, and nothing about the weather in the region is a certainty. It is well to remember that population shifts and population growth have dramatically increased the water usage in the southern and western States of the union.

Seventy years ago, in the immediate aftermath of The Great Depression, large parts of the mid-west suffered through what was called then "Dust Bowl" conditions. No one is suggesting that those years of drought, 1935 through 1937, were caused by the use of Scalar EM weapons. The difference in those years, from the present time, could be said to be that in the '30s, the summers were extremely hot and the winters were extremely cold.

Hurricane Katrina dropped some incredible amounts of rain as it passed the coastline and moved north through Mississippi:

DEMAND TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT SCALAR WEATHER WARFARE

The Senate of the United States is stuck in low gear:

while they stage their insipid debates about 'amnesty' for illegal aliens,
vast sections of the country are suffering from what may be
an illegal ( under international law ), form of weather warfare.

AN AIRBORNE FUNNEL CLOUD SPOTTED NEAR MAGEE DURING KATRINA

THE PEOPLE OF THIS BELOVED COUNTRY
HAVE GOTTEN USED TO SHOPPING IN SUPERMARKETS WHICH OVERFLOW WITH FRESH PRODUCE
AND MORE CHOICES THAN EVER FOR FROZEN AND CANNED FOODS:

another six months of intense drought in the south will change all of that. These are truly perilous times and the bungled management of Katrina and its aftermath proves that the federal government -- under Little Boy Bush -- is incompetent to deal with a MAJOR short-term crisis, much less with long-running food shortages. And yet there is plenty of energy in the world, plenty of ingenuity in the world, and plenty of people in the world willing to work on weather problems and drought.

What there is not in evidence is any willingness by the Powers That Be in the District of Cupidity, to deal with a persistent drought and the slow-moving train-wreck of Scalar weather war, WHICH MAY BE CAUSING THIS DROUGHT.
