So, the Gold Club trial ended with a plea bargain for Steve Kaplan et al (though there are 2 remaining who will yet stand trial), before any Very Big Details could get out about any Very Big People. :)

The building and property have been turned over to the Feds as part of the plea bargain. The Feds say they will raze the building itself, and probably sell the property to MARTA (Atlanta's rapid transit) who would likely use it for parking.

'The Q' told us originally that things were not as they appeared in this matter. There was a suggestion that Fac 1 folks had come swooping down on the Gold Club, with a mistaken impression Q-and-Crew were involved in it, partly because of the logo on the Gold Club's doors.

But, Q said, no -- this was not gonna get Fac 1 anywhere, because it was a 'sacrificial lamb', a perhaps accidental ruse, a decoy, inadvertent or otherwise.

One thing we _don't_ know is whether 'The Q' then had some involvement in what unfolded during the 14 weeks of the trial - during which connections to the Gambino family were alleged, and a few sports figures came forward to fess up to their 'appetites', etc.

A "source close to Faction Two" tells me part of the long-term plan is to "remove athletes and film stars from the ranks of the worshipped" - an interesting idea.

Don't we need "heroes"? Or, even if we don't _need_ them, isn't it okay to have them?

Probably it is - but the point here would be that athletes and film stars may already have been co-opted and may already be participating, knowingly or not, as "planks" in the plan to communize the world.

Rosie O'Donnell, in her depression she got from somewhere, came out strongly for gun control. Barbra Streisand, it's strongly rumored, was/is enamored of Bill Clinton.

OJ, both an athlete and a film star, was discredited for all time via that slow-speed pursuit and subsequent never-ending trial. Rumor has it OJ was not guilty of the charges, despite the finding in the civil trial that followed the criminal one - but how many believe otherwise, today?

Was Michael Jackson guilty of anything? We don't really know, though many probably think they know. What we _do_ know is that he vanished from the spotlight following those legal troubles. What was that about? Was Faction One knocking him off a pedestal, before he could draw together the world's response and put it to some good use? Or was Faction Two removing him from "the ranks of the worshipped" because he was, knowingly or not, helping communize the world?

We don't know, not really. I hope someday we do.

Meanwhile, I find myself wondering if the TV series "JAG" is a greeting card from the Fac 2 Crew. :) Instead of athletes and film stars; instead of spooky-dookers or people with appetites; 'JAG' shows us folks with a particular and keen sense of honor, duty, and loyalty, working to see that justice wins out in the end.

I didn't trust this show at first, very concerned it might be nothing more than a "Navy recruitment effort" and placing "the warrior, the killing machine" on a pedestal - but that's proven not to be the case, I think.

Anyway, those are just my thoughts, late on the Friday following the Gold Club trial conclusion and preceding the week in which the stock markets might take a very major 'hit'. :) Perhaps you have some thoughts about all this? I'd be pleased to hear them.
