Dear Friends, Patriots and Warriors of Truth:
Chandra Levy is still missing. So, too, are dozens of other young women, hundreds of young men, and entirely too many young children -- most of whom have been "kidnapped" by one of their parents -- but none of whom have received one scintilla of coverage in the mass media. Developments in the Chandra Levy case have been coming so fast and furious, it is very nearly impossible to assimilate all of the strands of information.
Monday afternoon, the Modesto Bee published an article on-line which summarizes the political damage that the "Chandra Is Missing" scandal has done to U.S. Representative Gary Condit. Here are some excerpts from that piece, with comments:

This is definitely the New World Order's party line: for a full twenty-four hours after Condit finally confirmed that he was having an affair with the young woman from Modesto, the news headline on America On Line's front-page pop-up box read "Police Say Condit Not A Suspect."
<< Each morning, 67-year old Elaine Tindle and three other women walk laps at a mall as they discuss the news of the day and whatever else is on their minds. Lately the hot topic has been Condit, and the group thinks the six-term Democrat ought to resign, Tindle said. "I feel like he's got nothing to do with her disappearance, but all this other stuff coming out has put a black mark on him," she said.
<< Some see the story as an attempt by the media to bring down a local hero. "I think they ought to find something out before they start persecuting him," said Jim Pilchard, an 84-year-old from Condit's hometown of Ceres. "I think the press should keep their noses out of everybody's damn business." >>
Only a few hours passed from the time this article was posted, to the Fox News cable network airing an interview with the lawyer for Anne Marie Smith, who shocked Paula Zahn by suggesting that Condit has a taste for kinky or sado-masochistic sexual pleasure.
Soon thereafter, the New York Post published its on-line edition [for Tuesday]: the front page story, by Niles Lathem and Kate Sheehy fills in the details that Smith's lawyer failed to air, last night, with Zahn. The woman, who has admitted she had an affair with Condit and says that she was asked to lie about it by one of his previous lawyers, said she saw things on her last visit to his apartment that suggested "kinky sex." This morning, a caller to the Imus In The Morning radio program described, briefly, a sexual fantasy or technique known as "Auto-erotic Intoxication" or auto-erotic asphyxiation. It has been known for many, many years, and consists of an individual or couple, in the throes of passion, initiating a kind of strangle-hold or constriction of the airways, in order to produce a very euphoric condition as the blood flow to the brain is reduced. Sometimes one partner controls the other, sometimes it is done by both partners, and sometimes it is done by a person acting alone. Unfortunately, the human need for the oxygen carried by the blood to the brain is paramount, and lovers can and have died while trying to attain this state of euphoria. A little-known B-level movie made about ten years ago had this "auto-erotic intoxication" as a theme: a detective was called to investigate the suspicious death of a call girl, and he then discovered that there was "subculture" for this kind of behavior.
It wasn't much of a movie, the point being that this is a well-known "sexual proclivity" in certain high-tone circles.
The howling dogs of the cable-news networks are now officially out for Condit's blood: even the lap-dogs at CNN have finally taken notice of this story, so it is obvious that the corrosive effects of his program of obfuscation and denial can no longer be ignored by anyone, not even Geraldo Rivera's producers at CNBC.
The problem with this new wrinkle for Gary Condit is that it does not answer the fundamental questions which have lingered since it was made known that Chandra Levy wasn't coming home:
*** why does a young lady, who has money, a loving and supportive family, and a graduation ceremony to attend -- just disappear?
*** and how does she do it, without cashing a $100 check she has just received, and apparently without taking her cellular phone, her identification or any other cards with her?
*** where, then, does she go for six to nine weeks? how does she do laundry, find a secure place to sleep or take a bath? what does she eat? even if she was suffering from temporary amnesia she wouldn't she have been discovered by now, especially given the wall-to-wall media coverage of the last few weeks?
There is no way that this story can be displaced, right now, given the addiction of the mass media to salacious or sex-driven storylines. What ought to concern the Rumor Mill News Agents are the questions not being asked on the "chat and chew" cable stations: why did Chandra get bounced from her internship? was it time for her to go or did she blunder in telling a supervisor that she was ready for graduation (and thus, no longer qualified to be an intern). Was she really an expert-level computer-user? Did she blunder into something crucial concerning the pending matter of Timothy J. McVeigh, back in the final days of April?
This does not bode well for Mr. Condit, or his supporters in the Modesto area. Expect the hammer-blows to continue to fall fast and furiously, now. Soon there will be nothing left of Gary Condit -- either as a politician or a man -- except the wreckage.
