MARS + URANUS = RELEASE FROM BEHAVIORAL CONSTRAINTS
Bright portents have been described in the HARVEST '06 thread suggesting that the raw creative energy of Mars is being directed along much more constructive lines of intent and is finding release through unprecedented innovations. Confirmatory events -- showing that a pivotal modification in human behavioral patterns is clearly in-progress -- can be anticipated in the first half of 2007.
This change of behavior is a free-will response of the many individual humans to their environing conditions.
At the moment when Sun enters Tropical Capricorn and the new Earth-Sun cycle begins, Mars is exactly 90 degrees of arc from Uranus. The Square is exact to the arc-minute at Solar ingress of Capricorn. All 90-degree "Aspects" call for Resolution of Conflict. Because the Mars-Uranus Square is exact at Solstice, this Call for Resolution characterizes the entire Earth-Sun cycle now begining.
"Mars-Uranus is the classic indicator of explosive conflict." -an outdated concept?
When the energy is consciously released and directed -- and the release is genuinely volitional -- free-will response allows the energy to express as constructive resolution. The inner heaven can externalize through innovative, Mars-creative, Spirit-guided expression... through the individual and the collective. The emotional work involved is comparable, yet takes form differently, is not experienced as affliction. The outstanding result of that kind of emotional work: Response, to the individual and the collective, from the totally intelligent environment.
The New Moon ("Lunation") of February 2007 occurs before Noon on February 17, 5 years and 5 months after 9/11. The New Moon occurs in 29 Aquarius, degree of the penultimate symbol of Transformation:
A BUTTERFLY EMERGING FROM A CHRYSALIS. TRANSFORMATION.
This will be a very interesting Lunation. Mercury stations three days before, in the familiar degree of 11 Pisces: MEN TRAVELLING A NARROW PATH, SEEKING ILLUMINATION. Mercury turns from retro- to prograde March 8th in 26 Aquarius: MENTAL EFFICIENCY.
The astro-context at Solstice includes a span of months from September '06 until after June Solstice '07.
A Cosmic Trigger was somewhat scrutinized in this thread on October 19th (3rd link below).
December Solstice brings the Second Cosmic Trigger in the HARVEST'06 chronicle of events.
It initializes a triggering sequence that lasts a full month and catalyzes a transformative process with a clearly discernible before and after. Coming events will clarify the time frame, likely similar to the long-lasting Saturn-Pluto Trine (effective from Autumn '06 to Summer '07 and beyond). The Chrysalis symbol advises us that the actual process is a Mystery. Paradoxically, We the People undergo the process in awareness.
ENTERING THE COCOON: MARS-SUN CONJUNCTION OCTOBER 23RD.

The September eclipse occurred in the culminating degree of 30 Virgo and the October 23rd Mars-Sun conjunction likewise occurred in the last degree of Libra: A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO KNOWLEDGE. In the outdated concept, Mars sends instinctual impulses to act. Just the fact that the current Mars-Sun cycle began in 30 Libra suggests that the New Mars is highly versatile, equipped for innovation, and inclined toward RELATEDNESS! Mars carries this resonance until December 2008.
The metaphor of "entering the cocoon" works very well in that Mars was behind the Sun at the October 23rd conjunction, hidden from direct sight. It fits for the Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, and for all of the most especially memorable ;) Scorpio Passage '06, when many of us observed ourselves walking and talking and breathing our way through intensely transformative days and weeks. Do we somehow sense that our most important opportunity for emergence is forthcoming, and soon? Such thinking could be easily dismissed as optimistic paranoia if there weren't so many astro-indicators over the last three months that have borne out!
Coming along after the initial tests and trials during our own transformative passage through Scorpio, the December 10 triple conjunction of Mars-Mercury-Jupiter points to the Value we transfer - forward - circulate to others for Harvest '06: RESOLUTION OF CONFLICT.

This is the distracting "humming in the background", the pre-conditioned responses, tightly wound since prehistoric ages, to always ever only respond to urgent situations by "externalizing an enemy" and surviving through combat. It doesn't make sense, isn't smart, and we all have these behavioral overlays thanks to "programming". However, we note that the appearance of an "external enemy" is not only imaginary, but also a real factor in the external environment! Therefore, we have little basis to anticipate an abrupt cessation of warfare on Planet Earth. Ancient conflicts cultivated (and required by) the dominance paradigm may take years to unwind. ('Years' may not be too long, after millennia?) Trend lines however are indicated to veer away from combat situations. Such trend lines may already be distinctly apparent.
It might work to regard the Mars-Uranus Square at Solstice as the beginning of the Mystery of Transformation that symbolically occurs within the chrysalis.
On January 22, a month after Solstice, Jupiter passes through the Square to Uranus.
SHOCKS & SURPRISES! TRANSFORMATIONAL!
Therefore these two 90-degree arcs to Uranus -- from Mars at Solstice -- then from Jupiter a month later -- define a 30-day interval when triggering circumstances can be anticipated, calling forth a Response from Humanity. A highly probable time frame for significant energy release comes at the end of April '07 close to the Mars-Uranus conjunction of April 29th. (Chart on the right, below)
Accumulating potentials are indicated during the interval from Mars-Uranus at Solstice, on through the Jupiter-Uranus Square of January 22, and through the Mars-Uranus Conjunction on April 29. A number of classic, high-profile events are likely, also their synthesis into a culminating event that may have a lot to do with the highly symbolic date of May 1. We're heading into several months of greatly elevated Mars energies. All forms of Mars expression are indicated. War scenarios already "in play" are not likely to subside, and may intensify (by all indications, not explosively), and much less familiar expressions of Mars are also to be anticipated... emerging on a much larger scale...
STEPS TOWARD CONSTRUCTIVE RESOLUTION ARE MORE FREQUENTLY CHOSEN.
Intensification doesn't by itself signify an undesirable outcome. Every intense situation that develops and passes without explosive/destructive release of energy definitely counts as a Win. Some have already occurred but were not regarded in this context.
If the Butterfly emerges from the Chrysalis at the February Lunation, the late April Mars-Uranus conjunction would signify RELEASE FROM BEHAVIORAL CONSTRAINTS. In 2007 We the People may discover that a wide range of divergent responses is required for adequately expressing the new and more complex Mars Function. It promises to be an exhilarating year, even without the alignments of December '07, (which includes an Earth-Mars Close Approach on December 24, 2007).
What a concept:
