My life, and that of my family, has not been the same since I was thrust into my current legal predicament last August.
I have seen very clearly that one cannot simply trust the system and a lawyer to find the truth and deliver justice. As my current lawyer is fond of saying, "The truth doesn't matter."
I receive an overwhelming amount of advice about what I should do to handle this matter. The advice reflects a wide spectrum of thinking. A wise European friend does not understand what I am still doing here. I ask myself the same question every day.
The following note is from an intelligent supporter with sound advice:

The bad guys have apparently chosen you to be our first Soviet-style dissident. That's why they wanted to generate the bad publicity on CNN, and that's why the special prosecutor is needed, i.e., to carry out the special plan and achieve the special purpose. However, because we still have the Constitution, the only way they can win this otherwise unwinnable battle is if you allow them to win.
As important as all your amazing investigative journalism has been, this thing with the court is far more important. It represents a grievous assault upon our Constitution and our Nation, and it is up to you to uphold the Constitution and the law. In so doing, you will have a wonderful opportunity to teach the rest of us "how to do it" when others among us are similarly attacked.
Do solicit the help of trusted supporters to help you with the tedious library tasks, but always remain in the driver's seat. You, and I, and many others have been scratching our heads for years wondering what we can do about "the problem" while things continued to progress unabated for the bad guys.
Astoundingly, the bad guys have carelessly chosen to turn up the heat too much. In so doing, they have now exposed to you and to the rest of us the keys to precisely what we all need to do instead of just leaving us to keep wondering and complaining while the crimes continue.
Especially given our strongly Christian perspective, the whole situation may actually be a great blessing in a frightening disguise. Do not view this court thing as a distraction, for it is, in fact, the crux of the matter.
