A comment I made last week, next to a BroJon Gazette frontpage news
story about DU or Depleted Uranium started off a spate of mail to the news
editor. Most of the mail wondered how I could be so callous and
“casual” about the dangers of DU. Here is a sample of those emails:

I was wondering what leads u to believe that the DU issue is not an
issue...? it seems to be quite an important topic...mostly it get
lodged in the lungs thru wind blown dust and then attacks the immune
system...that seems quite probable...why would you disregard this
possibility to nothing important...it makes me wonder who's behind the curtains

Please explain the increased number of birth defects and cancer cases
in Iraq. And Bosnia, and Kosovo, etc. Probably in Afghanistan too if
anyone cared enough to look. Oh yes, and among desert storm veterans
as well. Take a look at the money saved from not having to properly
store the
radioactive waste, simply turn it into DU weapons and ship it off. --

Hello Marshall, I noted that, in a recent Brojon Newsletter, you said
that the story about depleted uranium being dangerous was a hoax. There
appears to be considerable evidence to the contrary, indicated by the
incredibly high incidence of radiation related diseases in returning
American troops, and the rapid increase in the birth of deformed babies in
Iraq. Are you saying that all this evidence is faked? I refer to the
work of Leuren Moret. Are you saying she is wrong? -- David

David, I am not only saying that Leuren Moret is wrong, I will
absolutely prove beyond a reasonable doubt, with clear scientific data and
evidence from standard high school and college physics texts that Moret is
wrong. The correct facts about Depleted Uranium are these:
1. No physical damage or harm to the human body could possibly be
caused by Depleted Uranium.
2. DU does NOT cause any form of cancer, and is NOT used in weapons to
spread cancer.
3. DU is a purified product and is NOT made from any polluted or
radioactive wastes.
4. There is practically NO radioactivity in DU. It is completely
inert. It is “depleted” of radioactivity.
5. Radioactivity does not cause cancer. Most knowledgeable doctors
will tell you that most cancers are “cured” or treated with
radioactivity. Cancers such as breast, lung, uterine, liver, bone, and brain
cancers or tumors are treated with radioactivity. Why would a doctor
treat your cancer with radioactivity, if he knew that the same
radioactivity would cause other cancers. It makes absolutely no logic or sense.
It was a false myth, started as a false rumor in the 1960's, and
lasting even until today among the uneducated and uninformed. Radiation is
NOT the cause of cancers. That “story” is a complete hoax. Please
dismiss all those millions of websites claiming radioactivity causes
cancer as uninformed non-scientific ramblings from non-scientists.
I will prove those facts in a moment. But, first, why does the US Army
use DU in those shells fired from tanks? Is it to spread cancer? NO.
The simple fact is that today's U.S. M1A1 Abrams tanks fire standard
120mm rounds. That is the standard size of the cannons or howitzers on
the top front of most all tanks. If you hold your index fingers and
thumbs of both hands together to make a circle, that is about 120 mm (it's
about 5 inches or 12 cm). That is the diameter of the tank shell. Now
hold that circle with your fingers to your chest, and then extend one
of your hands out in front as far as you can, and that is about the
length of the tank shell. If the bullet, or the round inside of the shell
were made of lead, like most bullets, then that round weighs about 100
pounds.
If you fire that lead round from the Abrams tank it will penetrate
about six inches of the “enemy's” heavy iron tank armor. Many modern
day tanks have about 12 inches of armor. There are only two ways to
increase the penetration depth of a tank shell to get through that heavy
new armor. One is to increase the length of the round or bullet. But
doubling the length of the shell to about 7 feet is impractical, if the
shell is loaded into the cannon while the soldier is inside the tank.
There's just not enough room inside the tank to do that.
The other possibility to increase tank armor penetration is to double
the weight of the shell. The exact same size standard 120 mm shell made
from DU, weighs about twice as much (actually 1.7 times as much), as a
lead shell. The Abrams tank, without changing anything else, can now
penetrate through about 12 inches of tank armor rather than only just 6
inches. Nothing in the gun needs to be changed, in order to double the
penetration depth. Just make the “bullets” from DU rather than
lead. That's it. In the 2003 Iraqi war, the Abrams tanks using the new
DU shells hit the older Iraqi Soviet-made T-72 tanks as if their armor
were made of paper. But if the Abrams tanks had used the older lead
shells, those lead rounds would simply bounce off the Iraqi tanks and
leave a dent. That's how the American's won the war in just two weeks.
All of Saddam's old Soviet tanks had no chance against the American
Abrams tanks using the new heavier DU shells. Most of Saddam's tank
commanders simply told all their troops to quit and go home. They didn't
even bother to surrender, they simply all went home.
That was the role of the DU tank shell in Iraq. It was not to kill all
the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi tank personnel, pollute the
countryside with radiation and cause havoc. NO, it was simply, after the
Iraqi's learned the US was using DU shells, most of the Iraqi tank people
were scared into quitting. They were scared into quitting the tank war
even before it began. Using simple fear of superior weapons is an
effective use of weapons. Mostly nobody gets killed. Everybody just goes
home.
That's why the US Army uses tank rounds made from DU. It has nothing
to do with spreading cancer, pollution and death from the DU in those
tank rounds. Nobody ever died from cancer caused by DU. It is
impossible since DU is absolutely NOT radioactive. DU has about the
radioactivity of pure distilled drinking water. That's not what you heard, or
were told. But you were lied to about DU. Let me prove it with real
scientific evidence.
In the 1920's theoretical physicists discovered it might be possible to
extract energy from uranium. It wasn't because uranium was
radioactive, but because uranium is “fissionable.” And it was only a theory.
In the 1930's some theoretical physicists, built an experiment under
the stadium at the University in Chicago to test the theory. What does
“fission” mean?
Uranium, and many very heavy metals, have a strange property that the
nucleus deep inside the atom will spontaneously break apart into smaller
pieces, in order to become more stable. The resulting pieces are not
random. And in breaking apart, the nucleus also gives off a minuscule
amount of energy. The uranium nucleus usually breaks into
“daughter” particles of lighter Thorium, Radium, Lead and Bisimuth. These are
lighter than uranium and most are not radioactive. This process of the
nucleus “breaking apart” is called “fission.” It's from the
Greek word meaning “break apart.” But along with the “daughter
particles,” uranium also always spits out a tiny particle of helium
gas. That particle is called an “alpha particle” and is made from
just two protons and two neutrons -- the nucleus of helium gas.
Sometimes the alpha particle breaks into other tiny particles made of just
protons and neutrons. The release of that fast moving alpha particle is
called “Particle Radiation.” That is the source of radiation from
uranium. It is not like the electromagnetic radiation, UV Rays, X-rays
or Cosmic rays from the sun. No, the radiation from uranium is only a
spray of physical helium gas alpha particles. It is a different kind
of “radiation.”
Exactly why uranium always spontaneously breaks into daughter particles
plus a single alpha particle is one of those unknown mysterious of the
universe. No physicist can tell you why. And if it didn't happen just
that way, the whole cosmos simply wouldn't work. They only know that
it does always happen that way. The physicists can describe it
exquisitely with mathematics, but they still don't know why. And how do I
know that? I am a university-trained and degreed senior physicist. For
forty years I have tried to figure out why the nucleus only comes in
certain shapes and sizes. To solve that mystery of “why” means
solving Einstein's Unified Field Theory. And nobody has done that yet.

So uranium spontaneously breaks apart or “fissions” all by itself.
But how often does that happen? That number is related to something
called the “Half Life” of uranium. If I have a single atom of light
“fissionable” uranium-235, I would need to wait about seven million
years for it to spontaneously break apart all by itself and release an
alpha particle as radiation. Otherwise that atom of uranium is
harmless and just sits around and does nothing. The number is actually 7.13
million years to be exact. That means that uranium is NOT very
radioactive at all. You would need to take a spoonful of uranium sprinkled on
your breakfast Wheaties, eat it, and then wait about 7 million years
before it would make you sick. And even then it doesn't cause cancer.
No, the symptoms of radiation sickness, from alpha particle radiation,
are similar to the flu – aches, pains and fever. That sickness is
caused by random cell damage, the same way an invading virus damages you
cells. Fat Chance that will ever happen caused by uranium-235, since
you need to wait 7 million years for the symptoms to appear. And if the
uranium is U-238 or DU, it will never happen. How come you weren't told
these facts before? How come you were told something completely
different?
Well, those physicists in Chicago in the 1930's wanted to speed up the
process of “spontaneous fission.” Doing scientific experiments
that take 7 million years to compete was a bit too long to wait. That's
even slower than watching grass grow or paint to dry, or even sitting by
the phone all day waiting for the lottery commission to call you and
tell you that you've won. I tried that experiment once but decided I
should quit before I died of old age. It also increases your odds of
winning if you buy a lottery ticket. It was known from the 1920's, that
you could trigger a fission, or a nuclear splitting reaction in a light
uranium atom simply by shooting an alpha particle at the uranium. It
was like shooting apples in a barrel. Many of the apples simply break
apart. You didn't need to wait 7 million years, just fire an alpha
particle at the uranium to cause a single “triggered” fission reaction.
But simply using a stream of alpha particles didn't produce enough
energy to even light a flashlight bulb. Something else was needed.
You are about to learn what the something else was. It resulted in a
pair of hoaxes which has allowed the world's power elite, “the Empire
of Energy,” to complete their process of taking over complete control
and domination of the world. The first hoax by the oil companies is
making you believe in “global warming.” That hoax started in the
1960's. Then the world's supply of oil is now sequestered and controlled
by a single one-world committee called the Kyoto Commission. They set
the future price and availability of all world's oil and energy based on
its carbon content.
The next hoax, started later in the 1980's, was the false belief that
DU or Depleted Uranium is as dangerous as Plutonium. Not So. DU is
very safe and stable. Plutonium is not safe, but it is a very compact
source of energy which will last for the next 50,000 years, at present
world rates of energy consumption. And all that Plutonium has already
been mined and is sitting in storehouses. You don't need to prospect or
search for it. It will completely replace oil as an energy source.
Plutonium is not found in nature. It is man-made from the safe stable
material called U-238, also known as DU. To make Plutonium from DU, you
simply store it inside an active nuclear reactor with all those alpha
particles flying around. If the DU is “irradiated” is turns from
uranium-238 into Plutonium-239. It costs nothing to do that, just let
it sit in the reactor for six months and then collect the resulting
Plutonium fuel. And how do I know about that? I already wrote a book, in
2001, about that very subject called “Black Gold Hot Gold.”
Many have already read the excerpt posted on the BroJon front page. It
is the story of how the power elite have maintained their control and
power for the last 5,000 years, and into the future for the next 10,000
years or more. The book explains how the means to wealth and power up
until 1895 was based on Gold. But then in 1895, the standard of
wealth, money and power was switched to another form of gold, called
“oil” or Black Gold. What you didn't know about the title of that book
was that in 1995, the next generation of wealth was switched again from
Black Gold to another new gold -- Hot Gold.
The switchover to the new energy source will begin in about five years.
The means to do that is by Mind Control – repeatedly telling you a
lie, over and over until you believe it. And what is Hot Gold? Like
Black Gold, oil, which can be turned into energy by burning, Hot Gold will
get very hot and give off much more energy without burning anything or
polluting the planet with CO2. It is the next energy source, the
source of wealth and world domination and power for the next millennium into
the future. It should be your energy. You already paid trillions of
dollars over 50 years to collect all that energy. It belongs to
mankind. But no. Because of the fear of DU, in 1995, all that energy was
simply given away free to the oil companies. Now that's mind control.
The chemical name for Hot Gold is Plutonium....
