Remember, that BAWAG was that construct that did send - actually in the last minute - the "bail out" to the hands of Mr. "Refco" Bennet. Most probably a deal was established:
BAWAG (together with the labor unions - OeGB) holds more than 20% on the Austrian Central Bank (OeNB). With the selling to CERBERUS (what kinda hell's doors do they "protect"?) it was agreed that these 20% will fall to the Austrian state who recently holds 50% in the National Bank. That might bring back the majority of ownership of the OeNB to the Republic of Austria - who will hold after the completed transaction over 70% of the shares. It was said that this was the "mandatory" clause for providing a state's guarantee of almost 1 Bill. Eur towards the "insolvent" BAWAG. This guarantee now expires without having it ever used - due to the successful selling of the BAWAG to CERBERUS and BAWAG'S shares on the OeNB return.
A brilliant deal that wouldn't cost the Austrian taxpayers one penny - only a guarantee. Was this why Austria's Finance Minister, Karl-Heinz Grasser, was targeted by a possible "assassination plot" - in reality a threat?

After all this was spinned as a "phantasy" of a mysterious inmate in a Tyrolian jail - and after two days nothing else was heard about it evermore...
Each European National Bank holds as well shares in the EZB - the European Central Bank. Here's a - not so up-to date list of the amounts of 2004.
I think, it all started with BAWAG's former CO Walter Floettl's son - Wolfgang Floettl, 50 - who is married to Anne Eisenhower, the granddaughter of former US-General and Prezi Dwight D. Eisenhower, who allegedly channeled a fortune of BAWAG's money towards the Caribeans...
I can't help myself from seeing the outlines of a skillful constructed ops - from the deliberate "killing" of BAWAG to the dismanteling of REFCO, till today when the OeNB came back a little closer to the Austrian people...
