TWO BUSH DAUGHTERS OUT DINING ? ONE PURSE STOLEN ?? "NO RISK" ???
Blogger comment about whatever actually happened at the San Telmo restaurant in Buenos Aires:

I am not a big fan of Bush ... but I am concerned that the Secret Service did not notice her purse being stolen. What else are they not paying attention to?
The daughter's [sic] have little control over their father and what he does, believes or how he runs the government. But imagine how much he and our country would be damaged if anything happened to them.
We should be able to keep the President and his family safe no matter what we think of him. I did not vote for him, I am a democrate, [sic] but I spent 20 years in the Navy defending our way of life.
The fact the Secret Service did not protect his children is noteworthy.
ITEM TWO: Here are some elements of the story as provided by the Associated Press and updated on the AOL News Service about an hour and twenty minutes ago:
ABC News, citing unidentified law enforcement reports, reported on its Web site Tuesday that Barbara Bush's purse and cell phone were taken while she was dining in a Buenos Aires restaurant.
La Nacion newspaper, citing anonymous government sources, said in its online edition early Wednesday that one of Bush's daughters had her purse taken Sunday afternoon in the popular tourist district of San Telmo.
NOW NOTE THIS ELEMENT --
A pair of thieves removed the purse from under a table while Secret Service agents stood guard at a distance, La Nacion reported. La Nacion said its sources did not reveal which of the Bush daughters had her purse stolen.
Then the Associated Press update adds this --
Argentine police told The Associated Press they had no complaint of any such incident on file, and the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires said it would have no comment.
In Washington, the White House, Secret Service and State Department also declined comment.
NOW COMES THIS ELEMENT --
CNN cited a law-enforcement source who was briefed on the incident as saying that "at no point were the protectees out of visual contact and at no point was there any risk of harm."
WHOA, NELLIE !!!
Two thieves approach the table ( or area ), where BOTH daughters are sitting -- even if they are not there at that very moment -- and abscond with a purse containing a cell phone that has to have some of the most important private numbers in the whole western world. And there was no "risk of harm" ....
Suppose the thieves had left behind an incendiary device ( a small one ), or a vial of radioactive debris with a couple of firecrackers wrapped around it ? Or a cell-phone activated IED ?? Just an ounce of plastique or some other explosive goo ?
Or maybe a recent copy of Vanity Fair magazine ?
This entire story gets more astounding as it gets updated and as it gets 'renewed' it makes less and less real sense !!
