PLUTO - The Guidance Planet
and The Trans-Personal Self
.
"Does anyone know what is in his subconscious?
It would not be his subconscious if he did." (Picasso.)
Before we begin I will say Pluto is my guiding planet, that is a personal as well as a trans-personal statement, and it means each one of you can look at where his or her natal (birth) Pluto position was at time of birth. The interpretation is a matter of life experience. You better study the links I select here:
The Cycle of Pluto

Astronomers (scientists) have meanwhile and meaninglessly enough "demoted" Pluto into a 2nd class citizen planet or non-planet. Whichever way, I was asked to explain to you PLUTO and its meaning, and as usual I use the RMN bandwidth to give you links and the journey is all yours.
Pluto is very s m a l l in terms of size, an ice-ball really, and yet it is seen by its position to have a mirroring effect(in time) or a transpersonal impact on matters of the world and the other-world, which is larger than anything we (or astronomers) can compute.
Here a quick intro: http://www.khaldea.com/planets/pluto.shtml
Thus what I say now is not for astronomers, nor for scientists, although some astronomers will listen gladly to what the astrologer thinks on whose ascendant Pluto is hovering while this coincides now with the Galactic Center seeing Pluto pass in its line during the next year.
PLUTO: Life is action - it is NOT thought, and it is trans-formative, means it changes forms. And yet Pluto does have transcendental potential. That is the one sure thing Pluto (and its position in a chart of birth or of an event as in now) can show to everyone tracking its progression over a life time of events and of transformations, which as I did indicate are action-based, not thought-based.
Pluto responds to action. In my opinion (others might have another opinion) it talks to us about how we reveal the transformative power, given to us by birth right, which means this: can someone or some thing change events and course of events. It used to be called magic. It implies action.

Assuming now you have studied this link, do you think Pluto cares if it was promoted or demoted by astronomers in the semantics of what a planet is or is not? I dont think so. Pluto has its own awareness and when we are guided we can make Pluto our friend.
There are other bodies in the cosmic game we can look at if we like: What happens on Dec. 18, 2012 is the Sun, the ecliptic, and the centre of the galaxy are conjunct, an astronomical event which only takes place once every 25,770 years due to the precession of the equinoxes.
SEE -- http://www.karmastrology.com/Sedna-myth.shtml
When we realize that the centre of the galaxy (now known to be a black hole, which is in effect a dimensional gap to the metaphysical planes) was considered by Mayan cosmology to be the sacred place out of which God emerges, it is easy to understand how this convergence of Sun, ecliptic, and galatic centre could evolve as the demarcation point for the Great Year.
There does have to be a beginning and ending point for this ongoing circular event, and Dec. 18, 2012 clearly was the point annointed by ancient civilizations to mark the ending/beginning.
Sedna's position on Dec. 18, 2012 is conjunct the Moon's South Node, (THE PAST), which certainly calls forth an energy of historical victimization of humanity.
Interestingly, this augurs a change for the better, for on that same date a Yod (finger of God) apex Jupiter (base Pluto sextile Saturn) opposing a conjunction of Venus and Mercury at the Yod's trigger point is a most auspicious configuration for the beginning of a new Great Year, provided the T-square apexed by a conjunction of the Moon, Chiron, and Neptune to the Jupiter-Venus opposition does not distort the Jupiter-Venus opposition in the yod.
Did you know Pluto is actually the GUIDING PLANET?

.
To sum it up. Neither astronomers nor astrologers are fully able to handle the actual -- real -- power of Pluto and of its astrology. That is well explained in the book Zen of Stars - Futures of Planet Earth , where we go into what the position of Pluto as compared to other bodies in our solar system will probably mean or portent . . . over the next few decades.
Leaving you with this to ponder . . .
.
Peace -
