One more week of Mercury retrograde, what will be next?
The position of Venus in Cancer is sending mixed signals now, fear is not be given into now but these feelings are never far away as uncertainties are mounting.
The Sun enters its sign, Leo, in two days, pass in line of Saturn in two weeks, on August 7th, as the full moon builds, making this a very important time to conclude large scale projects, and the sun will then oppose Neptune a few days later, or in about three weeks from now.
With sun in Leo in such aspects and Venus unclear in Cancer, it will be hard to remain grounded and difficult not to be misguided during this phase. A spiritual retreat would be the best thing one can do at this time under these conditions.
These are important aspects that Mars just did over the past month. In other words we will see a repeat performance but then with Mars making even more critical aspects of its own. We saw Mars in Leo highlighting the misguided promotion of agendas, drama and territorial action in the Leo midheaven of the chart of Israel, as if on command.
The action will begin to become more analytical and much more critical now, after we witnessed the Mars in Leo drama. Mars enters tropical Virgo tomorrow and will make several important aspects of its own while the sun does its above aspects.
Around the full moon of August 9th when the moon is across the Leo sun and very close to Neptune, Mars begins to oppose Uranus. This is a rather rare combination of multiple alignments in effects, and a time where we can expect very surprising events both related to climate, weather patterns, and plates shifting - as well as erratic movements in the political landscape.
Now is the time to watch where and how the hurricanes are forming half a moon phase away.
By end of August Mars will form a 90 degree square to Pluto, at which time the situations will become quite tense or exacerbated everywhere. Right now we are merely in the build-up of these aspects but they might when they then form catch many unprepared.
At that same time, end of August, Saturn in Leo also forms the exact opposition of its own to Neptune, that is the main and longest lasting aspect of all that I explained to you during the last few months. Where the real meets the surreal.

August is probably the month in which this year 2006 comes to a culminating point. Everything would seem to condense between the two full moons of early August and September. Meanwhile Jupiter moves slowly into the square position to both Saturn and Neptune, highlighting and triggering the whole thing. Most affected by this are people with prominent birth positions in Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, and also Taurus.
While a lot will be coming to light on August 9th, more will still remain hidden (such as submarines) due to the position of Jupiter in Scorpio until early December. It is only towards the end of 2006 that we will get a clearer sense of how 2007 will unfold when we can match the reality with the scheduled movements of planets.
Coupled to the positions Mars is taking on its way through Virgo in August and in September, all the above will mirror down a great deal of tension and confusion or uncertainty. Indications are that the plates are shifting and water is receding.
Who is right and who is wrong will be issues discussed and best is with Mars in Virgo that we meet the players outside the field of right and wrong. There will be a lot of anger, and also criticism flying around in personal and world affairs. Best is not to take part in it and remain an observer throughout.
This planetary tension will show clearly in terms of the economy by mid September. Mars acts as a trigger of its own in the long standing geometry of the other slower moving planets. The opposition to Uranus is potentially volatile in human affairs and the square to Pluto talks of earth movements. Mars sextile to Jupiter from 5-10 August is a moment when action can be taken positively.
The full moons of August and September potentially mirror extremely erratic weather patterns that can show up within hours and catch the unprepared off guard.
Mercury begins to move direct again on the 29th of July, in a week, after new moon in Leo. It will retrace the latter part of Cancer until reentering the first two degrees of Leo, where it stood still on July 4th. We get a chance to revisit the situations a third time.
The planets for the coming two months indicate a strange thing: If you want to be the focal point of a party, best is not to attend it. During this time ahead, more than ever really, that which we feed (even with our thoughts) is what we will get.
