THE ROLE OF THE MSM-"MEDEA": TIME WILL TELL WHETHER THE TIMES WILL TELL...
"We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develope our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a World Government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferrable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries."
David Rockefeller, founder of the Trilateral Commission,
in a speech at a meeting of the Trilateral Commission, in June 1991
The "leaking" by the NYT on the "spying" on SWIFT-Data by the US Govt. has caused a great uproar in Europe's press while such really revealing N-E-W-S series from FOX News - 911 The Israeli Connection (Spy Scandal - 4 Part Series, from Dec. 2001) was not a big deal at all. It wasn't even mentioned. Logically therefore it wasn't mentioned that it was pulled - even from the FOX archives. AIPAC obviousely had lobbied FOX News to remove it totally from their website...
If some voices are speaking now of "sueing" the NYT - this is simply ridicolous and may merely point towards a staged conflict, similarly as we are to be amused with a wrestling fight.
Although there is always some of what REALLY happened to be found between the lines.
The NYT didn't report much on the VOTESCAM either. So what? I think that the NYT has been acting more or less as a leading mouthpiece for European Medeas - as she is often referred to as a "leading American paper" - and bears greater credibility in the public oppinion therefore.
So the resulting "outrage" against the NYT might be deliberate on one hand and be reasonable at the other as well. But watch that at the same time the US Govt. doesn't specify it's accusations. Their argumentation is foggy with using phrases like "against terrorism" and similar sentences that might say nothing specific.
As we might assume, by what we do know by now, that the ongoing terrorism is indeed "sponsored" by those enemies of Americas who by no means are those "usual" Arabs alone. There are more powerful constructs behind all this as they even might be some foreign Governments involved.
It is a much more crucical draw accusing a foreign country or a government and therefore such a step must be considered wisely and with caution.
And it wouldn't be good at all to show your cards at this stage of that ongoing game of poker - therfore official US-statements might further be kept below the rug and foggy by intention.
Bush condemns leak of terror finance info
By TERENCE HUNT, AP White House Correspondent

WASHINGTON -
President Bush said Monday it was "disgraceful" that the news media had disclosed a secret
CIA-Treasury program to track millions of financial records in search of terrorist suspects. The White House accused The New York Times of breaking a long tradition of keeping wartime secrets.
"The fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror," Bush said, leaning forward and jabbing his finger during a brief question-and-answer session with reporters in the Roosevelt Room.
The Times has defended its effort, saying publication has served America's public interest.
The newspaper, along with the Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal, revealed last week that Treasury officials, beginning shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, had obtained access to an extensive international financial data base — the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, or Swift...
So lying, debunking and leaking are POLITICAL strategies used both by MEDEAS as well as by GOVERNMENTS. While I am used from governments that they act that way, I would expect from an "independant media" much more transparency.
But this - we can find more likely with "BLOGGERS" on the web and even more in "RUMORS" nowadays than in what is sold to the public by "reporting the news" by all those presstitutes.
But you can definitely draw the conclusions that a lying Medea isn't existing for "reporting" at all but is just another player in the game of politics.
"News is what someone wants to suppress.
Everything else is advertising".
Former NBC news president Rubin Frank
