It is our opinon, and the opinons of many of our readers, that Mr. Dobbs is probably headed for a pink slip, but he's riling up the middle class and the people who are still relatively untouched by fluoride and are able to think.
Oddly enough, our TV service is out right now and we're not able to see what's going on...feeling kind of out in the atmosphere...
As for the SPLC...a few years ago when we were outing a local white supremacist group, we called the SPLC and begged them to help us with any kind of assistance they could provide, up to and including legal/investigative services to try to shut these people down. An elderly couple had a video tape of guys in white sheets burning objects (crosses, etc.) in the country and they were absolutely TERRIFIED.
But the SPLC basically IGNORED US and our repeated calls to them. They would leave messages on our machine; they seemed to have an uncanny ability to return our calls when we weren't home and always left non-committal messages.
Eventually we gave up and spoke out against these white supremacist people in print. We didn't once mention the SPLC. Very few people knew we even had had contact with them.
I can't see that they have ever really helped anyone. They're kinda like the ACLU (also USELESS): they will only take on high profile cases that make them "look good."
