Christopher Bollyn is neither an anti-semite nor a racist. He is an American who grew up in Illinois outside Chicago with strong values coming from his mother's pioneer roots in North Dakota and his father from Chicago's West Side.
His father was educated at Austin High School and as a journalist at University of Illinois. Both his parents served in the U.S. Army during World War II. His father served in Germany from 1943-1945 and never spoke about what he saw during the war.
He did say, however, that Germany was a beautiful country.
His mother was a teacher and had studied home economics and interior design at Columbia. She had worked as a nanny in New York City and had taken care of the Farrish children. Will Farrish is currently the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Bollyn's ancestors are of American, Swiss, Swedish, Norwegian, and Prussian stock. Some of his American ancestors served as Hessian soldiers during the American Revolution.
The Bollyn family roots are a bit difficult to trace but his family is thought to be related to the family of Anne Bollyn (Boleyn or Bullen), the wife of Henry VIII and Queen of England and mother of Elisabeth I.
Christopher Bollyn is, like millions of Americans, a Christian of northern European ethnicity.
