: I am sorry if this sounds a bit too tragic and negative for
: the peace and light people, but this is what occurs when
: evil is heartily accepted at any and all expense. For the
: ancients once said, be not deceived you shall reap what you
: sow. These are not words of warning they are words of
: justification.
"As ye sow, so also shall ye reap" = "As ye give, so also shall ye receive" = "You experience what you express".
In the Old Testament, scouts were sent ahead into the land that the Kids of Israel were told they were to inhabit. Some of the scouts returned, wide-eyed and fearful, saying, "There are giants in the land!" But some returned and said, "We are well able to inhabit the land."
Those second scouts did _not_ say, "There are no giants." Rather, they were focused on something else entirely - presumably, God and God's promise - and so didn't need to _mention_ the giants they, too, had seen, since they really didn't matter when viewed in that greater context. "We are well able to inhabit the land" was the whole point.
Those second scouts, who turned out to be right in the end, were the "peace and light people" of their day. No doubt they appeared as "fantastical dreamers" who did not understand "the practical realities" in the eyes of the first scouts who came back muttering about "giants in the land".
"You experience what you express." If fear, or hatred, or doom-and-gloom is what we're expressing, our experience will shape up as being self-fulfilling in that regard - because what we're expressing is what will return to us from out of the world, and we'll be able to say, "See? I _knew_ things were gonna get worse!" Yet the reverse is also true. Express gladness, and an abiding faith, and "a good courage", and those things are reflected back out of the world just as certainly. "As ye sow, so also shall ye reap."
True enough - there are "peace and light people" who as yet have only an intellectual concept of how this works; who as yet do not have the experience of applying this in their daily living, but for now only "talk a good truth" - and you would be correct in thinking they are somewhat "lightweight".
But they are not the only ones who are here and on this chosen path. Human beings learn through playing-at being something. Eventually they either set their play aside, or let it become real.
: You think I am kidding or being too negative. Why not try to
: walk away from your life for a while and begin to see this
: from the outside looking in. Strip yourself bear and learn
: to walk in faith. I bet you that doing so would almost be
: an impossiblity because you are already so saturarted
: within the devices of the wicked ones, you would not even
: know where to begin!
Ya think? :) Could it be that the reality back of the word God is stronger than "the devices of the wicked"? Could it be that the reality back of the word God can make creative use of any thing that is part of the world of creation?
Pharaoh set out to slay all the first-born of Israel; you remember how _that_ turned out. :) "As ye give, so also shall ye receive."
