WARNING!!! "KILLING" PATRIOT ACTS MIGHT BRING *NO* GOOD
The defeat of the renewal of the Patriot Acts, in yesterday's (Friday, December 16) Senate vote of 52-47, is moot.
Not a good omen, it should be regarded as a portent, for what in effect has happened is that the 47 have thrown down the gauntlet to the 52, daring them and the power behind them to advance their agenda by one bridge more.
Those who have passed the point of no return cannot be expected to turn back. The US Senate yesterday may have all but guaranteed an escalation of terrorist acts, and on a larger scale, against the American "homeland."
From YahooNews:"....But a Democratic senator threatened a filibuster to block the compromise.
"I will do everything I can, including a filibuster, to stop this Patriot Act conference report, which does not include adequate safeguards to protect our constitutional freedoms," said Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., who was the only senator to vote against the original version of the Patriot Act...."
It takes 60 senators to overcome a filibuster in the 100-member Senate.
I warn you to stay alerted and keeping your eyes and ears open - as your cheerings may have come too early - as the "plan" might want a result by any means. If not possible legally-wise - than another 'errorist-act of the proportions of the 9/11 might be the only way to achieve the goals of the ptbs.
And if you look at the latest news from Iran - you might recognize that the "usual culprits" have been disclosing themselves already...
