Well, with all the negative reaction now popping up, it most certainly will end up getting passed in some late night, back room deal.
47 Senators choose to say "Nay" to this bill. I wonder how many Americans have taken the time to call, fax, or e-mail their Offices with words of thanks, or a "Job Well Done"? (I have - e-mails).
Instead, stories are already circulating about how these 47 "Nay" sayers are on the verge of doing an about face, and are ready to cast a "Yea" vote.
I stand on my statment that a "Nay" vote on this bill was a "Patriotic Act". I did limit my comment by saying "(this time)".
