You appear to have posted the image that gives the APPEARANCE that an object is obscured by a cloud, thus implying that the object is NOT a lens flare.
The image you have posted is one from 1634.

What do readers think the "object" is now? Is it a lens flare, and that Esc has selected an image from a sequence of images that APPEARS to show an "object" obscured by clouds just at that moment?
On closer scrutiny the "object" is NOT obscured by clouds at 1634.
