Clear Channel (status quo radio) will continue its decline (it lost 21% of
share value in the 3rd Q). Its syndicated flagships, sometimes referred to as
"butt boys" for the Neocons (Limbaugh, Hannity, Boortz, etc.), will
find progressively diminishing Arbitron numbers as the American populi unplug
in embarrassment from these "Republican" media outlets.
The "Right" will go back to the early days of Goldwater; and all of the pompous
$2000-suit Republicans, and the hordes of influence peddlers jamming K Street
with (ob)noxious fumings, are going to find themselves out on the sidewalks
humming, "...Something is happening here but you (I) don't know what it is, do
you (I), Mr. Jones..."
The already diminishing support for the Milo Mindebender forray into Iraq, will
find us deja-vuing the Saigon embassy rooftop fiasco. We are daily witnessing
the erosion of public support for this Iraqi boondoggle. With Kissinger-like
aplomb, we will leave the abysmal mess we created in Iraq, with the meter
running on a permanent civil war. Hopefully (for the peoples' sake), a
charismatic leader will arise who can unify them out of it; or, perhaps the CIA
can find and fund a new son-of-sad dam. In all likelihood, Iraq will go the
way of Iran, and mullah its way back to some degree of sanity; probably a
Salahadin rather than a Mahdi.
And back at home, in national politics, the only person who could possible
curtail a Hillary landslide (Reich) would be Arnold ... but he has major
Constitutional hurdles to leap. If you study the entire draconian fascist
measures now instituted as Law in the US, the nightmare could become the
daydream and become the reality ... especially if we're all still in a
reactionary mode. Look out for Robespierre and the Committee for Public
Safety!!
The Neocons and all those pretending to be "conservative" had their day in the
sun. Their problem? They have no sense of humor; they can't laugh at
themselves. Will they have to wait until they actually get to the gallows to
suddenly discover it?! Time, as always, will tell.
