FINAL EVIDENCE: BLAST WAS *DEFINITELY* UNDER SURFACE... *PIC*
Here is the clear evidence about it (Hello, Mr.Mehlis - same procedure as in the "La-Belle"-case? Same procedure as everytime?).
See the marks of the water-pipes on the sidefront of the Hotel Monroe. It's one of the newest and hotels in Beirut, but its pipes bursted because of the explosion that happened UNDERGROUND and brought the WHOLE PIPE-SYSTEM into OVERPRESSURE.
The side of the Hotel Monroe was not faced to the explosion, so there was no direct contact with the pressure caused by the explosion and those pipes were exploded because of a pressure coming from the underground.
Just note that they exploded in the last floor where the internal PIPE-SYSTEM in the building ENDS!
As far as a possible MININUKE is concerned - it could be possible allthough. If the bomb was designed that way that the blast vector was designed to point EXACTLY UPWARDS - and the device was small enough (about one Ton equivalent TNT) it would explain the extreme temperatures - and don't forget that Hariri was "protected" by his armoured car, so if the device didn't blow up exactly UNDER HIS CAR - everything would be burnt allthough not disintegrated...
The "Mehlis-'eport" reads of witness's reports of "earth-moving activities" in the night before the explosion in front of the St.Georges - but they were classified as "not important". The whole road was closed and there would have been enough time to plant "something" under the surface. See as well the amount of concrete blown in the air - even damaging cars in quite a distance from ABOVE. Those pieces do not fly 200 meters into the air if the explosion is above ground. More evidence is that manhole covers flew away.
