H.MIERS NOMINATION AND THE 9/11 FOREKNOWLEDGE... *PIC*
Bush's latest proposal for the US Supreme Court - Harriet Miers - is most probably that person who handed the PDB-memo on Aug.6, 2001 to her boss while briefed by the CIA during his holliday on the Crawford-ranch in Texas in the foremath of the events of the 9/11.
It is of certain interest that the "officially" published memo on the White House page has underwent a dramatical "shrink-age". From those originally over eleven pages - barely two survived. Why? What information was so "explosive" to be hidden from the public eyes and to be declared as "classified"?
This incomplete one and a half page version of the Aug. 6 PDB is damaging enough as it relates not only the already exposed extent of Al Qaeda's penetration of the Americas, but also portrays an imminent danger by "suspicious activity" around New York.
As to the contents of the remaining (much more) pages, we can only speculate. Whatever else this admin is trying to hide, it is highly probable that it is connected with the activities of a certain "foreign nation".
So it seems that the White House took some risk of publishing a "Reader's Digest-version" of the Aug.6 PDB. The even mentioning of an Israeli spy operation in the US is regarded as "dynamite". Mossad monitoring the alleged 9/11 plotters while providing the hard-facts rather late to US-security-circles (End of Aug 2001). So all is kept under the mystic expression of involvements of a "foreign nation" which almost has become a synonym for "Israel"...
"Crawford, August 6, 2001. US-president George W. Bush is on vacation. He wants to spend the whole month at his ranch in Texas. Although 'The Presidential Daily Brief' (PDB) is still part of his morning routine. In the PDB, as called by CIA jargon, senior CIA officials usually present the President with a summary of the security situation. On this morning the CIA Director himself briefs the President. Instead of the usual two or three pages, today's briefing consists of eleven and a half printed pages and carries the title 'Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.' The CIA chief explains herein that Al Qaeda has planned to carry out attacks on US soil as well now - and there were probably already members of this terror-organization inside the United States for quite some time. It is not clear whether or not the CIA Director has briefed the US-president about the testimonies of arrested Al Qaeda members. According to their statements they have been thinking about about hijacking planes for the longest time - for using them as missiles."
Besides these reveling informations there is another hint towards the (now suppressed and downplayed) constant surveillance of "Mastermind Atta and his 19 thieves" by those Israeli Art Students in "Die Zeit" here (Next door to M.Atta).
Now - H.Miers most probably knows about all this. So she will have no problem of "getting" what she or her "protegee"(?) wants. Even to get a seat at the US Supreme Court - although she never has been a judge in her life...
The Constitution does not explicitly establish any qualifications for Justices of the Supreme Court. However, Presidents normally nominate individuals who have prior legal experience. Typically, most nominees have previous judicial experience, either at the federal or state level. Several nominees have formerly served on federal Courts of Appeals, especially the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, which is often considered a stepping stone to the Supreme Court. Another source of Supreme Court nominees is the federal executive branch—in particular, the Department of Justice. Other potential nominees include members of Congress and academics. On the current Supreme Court, seven Justices previously served on federal courts (including three on the D.C. Circuit); two served on state courts; three were former law school professors; and three held full time positions in the federal executive branch.
Nominees to the Supreme Court, as well as to lower federal courts, are evaluated by the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Federal Judiciary. The panel is composed of fifteen federal judges (but not Supreme Court Justices), including at least one from each federal judicial circuit. The body assesses the nominee "solely to professional qualifications: integrity, professional competence and judicial temperament," and offers a rating of "well qualified," "qualified," or "not qualified." The opinions of the committee bind neither the President nor the Senate; however, they are generally taken into account.
One doesn't even has to think of the nasty expression of "blackmailing" as this could be an "offer" - no side has a reason to refuse.
As according to the latest developments it would be thinkable that she could soon be asked to rule on a conspiracy conviction against her former boss.
