The Russians are smart. Extrapolating from this breakdown, we may view the ongoing Bali terrorist events as another item in the list of "wedge issues," contrived to incite Australians to assume a hard pro-Zionist, anti-Islamic line.

Now India has joined the EU-3 and the US, in recommending that Iran's intransigence on nuclear development be referred to the IAEA, and which has reportedly led to the suspension of the LNG pipeline deal between the two. Those LNG supplies were originally earmarked for Australia.
"Non-aligned" India, still being courted by the multinationals with FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), has now evidently thrown in with the Zionist camp, threatening the BRIC accord.
And then there is the continuing agitation of Chinese/Japanese relations over the gas fields around the island group (Daioyutai, Senkaku) claimed as territorial waters by Japan, Taiwan, and China. Throw in North Korea and the potential for region-wide East Asian war increases logarithmically.
The dilemma is especially acute for Japan, which is historically the odd-man-out in the region, having linked its geopolitical fortunes with the West one and one half centuries ago, and having been repeatedly betrayed and exploited by its fair-weather imperialist partners, while its best interests, like those of Germany, always lay in binding economic ties with its near neighbors.
Only in South America, as opposed to Eurasia, is the anti-Zionist coalition led by Venezuela holding up and only for the moment, as divisive Paraguay is now hosting an American marine base, while US troops have been deployed to Curacao, to menace both Cuba and Venezuela.
Ecuador and Bolivia remain "in play." The upcoming December election in Bolivia should prove a watershed; a victory by the "Marxist" Evo Morales would tip the balance towards the Chavez-led new Bolivarian revolution.
Anyone with eyes that can see will see that the truly anti-conservative US foreign policy is being directed towards splitting the world into two distinct blocs, with the intent of ensuring that if, or when, WWIII breaks out in earnest, it will be the first truly and wholly global war that will involve every single continent.
