I am a good friend of Kay Griggs (Katherine Pollard Miller) whose tapes are
outing many Marine Corps homosexual generals. It is not the homosexuality, it
is the control. You are right. And from Kay I learned that the expression
going around in the higher ranks for about the last 15 years is "If you f__k up
you move up", meaning they want more to promote those that they have something
on. All indications are that Byrnes a hero. Also, Monroe is an Army Post.
How can an Admiral be given an "internal command"?? He is either in the chain
or not. That was most likely the football.
Also, Kay is from an old inside Virginia military background. I mean good
Lord, her first cousin is Chesty Puller! There is something else she knows
that should be thought of here. It is known in the higher ranks, colonel and
above, that equal ranks in the services the army always outranks any other
service. If you think about this historically it makes sense. Go back to when
it was only Army / Navy. Who would you trust, someone here or someone makeing
deals with God knows who.
