In the run up to the Iraq War of 2003 there was a series of James Bond 007 films on TV, even though a few of them had been shown not long before. I always thought this was done to help persuade the British public that you can trust British Intelligence (which is full to the brim of James Bond 007-types jumping off Austrian mountains with Union Jack parachutes to save the British Empire).
This time the series started a few months ago.
So what is the significance of this? Well, just over two weeks ago on 7/7 London was bombed. British Intelligence and its Joint Terrorist Assessment Centre had earlier lowered the terrorist threat level saying, basically, that nobody had the balls or the nouse to attack Great Britain.
Yet in the space of 15 days London's underground and bus network has been attacked TWICE with multiple explosions and deaths.
Was the Bond series started anticipating 7/7 and 21/7, to minimize the suspicion of British Intelligence?
Or is this just another coincidence, that just as British Intelligence is either helping to create dodgy dossiers on Iraq, or running simulations of terrorist attacks on London there is a film series of good ol' James Bond 007 Licence to Kill (or do whatever is necessary to bring on the New World Order police state)?
