: I see what you mean and I don't mean to nitpick here, but it
: is 1700 Reinsurance professionals worldwide. Support staff
: and other types of professionals probably number in the
: many tens of thousands considering they have offices all
: over the world.
Good point. The connection with University College, London may also be relevant. UCL announced that one of their employees was dead, and then retracted. The family are tearing their hair out - they don't know what's happened, and the police aren't telling them anything. UCL is a big place and runs some of the buildings near to (although not adjacent to) the bus bomb site. I bet the police haven't told the boss of every victim. There may be a connection with the fact that Benfield 'sponsor' an outfit at UCL.
: Considering that they have their fingers in the largest
: shakedown business on the planet: INSURANCE, and tout
: themselves as the biggest, with headquarters in London, it
: would hardly be a stretch to consider that they had 2,000
: employees there.
Agreed.
: But you are correct: I was unable to
: verify it.
: Also, for 6 months ending June 2004, they purportedly had an
: increase in NET Profit of more than 100%! Wow! Their
: stockholders must have been happy. Or, 113 million Pounds;
: annualized to 226 million pounds.

: Like you, guess I'll have to wait and see what falls out of
: the trees we've been shaking around here.
What did you make of Peter Power's TV interview. He mentioned American banks in the City, apparently non sequitur:
http://www.terrorize.dk/misc/london/resources.php#terror.games
He also mentioned a building where there were a lot of 'Jewish businessmen' (an extraordinary phrase to be used on UK TV). Deutsche Bank - OK, not a US bank but at least a bank! - was involved with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Israeli embassy in organising the conference at the Great Eastern Hotel.
Best regards,
