Living as I do 60 miles form London, in another major UK city, I have been following today's events closely.
Blair has just left by Chinook helicopter for London. Surprisingly, they showed ALL his movements right till the copter took off.
Charles Clarke, Home Secretary has confirmed 3 underground train explosions and 1 bus explosion, bus top was completely blown off and there are rumours it was a suicide attack.
Sky News and BBC News channels are all saying at least 6 explosions, maybe 7.
Been videoing all day, to pick up any stuff that will get edited out later. No evidence that there is any contaminents involved in these explosions.
G8 leaders all stood in news conference as Blair spoke. Dubya's facial expression was remarkably similar to how he looked after 9/11.
I have been in the past to most of the locations targeted. Very busy locations all. Latest estimates are of 150 injured. Judging from the ambulences leaving Russell Square tube station, I suspect this all could be on a par with Madrid.
