: I COUNTED THEM: THERE APPEAR TO BE 26. VERY INTERESTING : NUMBER. ANY IDEAS WHAT THAT MIGHT MEAN? 9 STRIPES, 26 : STARS....(2X13) I think that the stars are hidden in the folds... and as much as I would like to believe this flag has 9 strips... I think the other stripes are probably hidden in the folds also. However... it was a really good way to get some GOOD and TRUTHFUL information out... AND the fact that ther flag has NO gold trim is something I have been noticing with Bush in many different speeches. Maybe something is changing.
