Yup. And while the Surpreme Court has ruled that while the Federal Government can make its laws; it has also ruled that it is up to the individual State to decide whether it will allow the Federal Government to enforce those laws within its borders!
The Klamath Water debaucle was finally 'won' by the fact that the Feds were told by the Sheriff to leave after a local constitutionalist sent Chapter and Verse (court case ruled by Supremes) to the local constituents who took the papers to the Sheriff. Using that authority (so I was told), the Feds had to leave.
It seems it is ignorance of the law that is hurting us the most. When we find out how to use it, we can indeed perhaps mount our own 'defense' in ways nobody even thought of. But I digress here. Still, it applies to the subject matter rather elegantly.
