More from Michael Donovan...
Recently, it almost did not make the news, just a bit for mostly overseas,
we sunk one of our own carriers off the coast of Georgia. They were
secretive about this in one way but not in another. The retired sailor
groups from the America had a fit. It took a number of hits, but she did
sink. This was, I truly think, in reply to my campaign. I posted what you
wrote to many many foreign newspapers and to foreign military.
They were
simply embarassed into in. The threat, should we attack Irans nuke
facilities would most likely not come from Iran. Iran would play 'poor me'.
The attack in this case could come anywhere, Straits of Malacca even the
east coast of Panama. And could come from Third World powers. Should we
scream 'terrorists' at that point we would be laughed at.
It all comes down to secret agreements regarding non use of nuclear weapons,
that is the real reason they do not want a wild card like Iran in the
'club'.
I wrote this all out in a play, a history....

...A Spy In Time, 1954
“And if I gave you two atomic bombs for Dien Bien Phu?”
John Foster Dulles to Georges Bidault
Synopsis: It is 1954 in the family’s home in Pound Ridge, a very rural
setting but still in commuting distance from Manhattan. The French are
unexpectedly beginning to lose their war in Indochina. The wife of Time
Magazine’s mapmaker pressures him to gather more information at Time and
help her alert the Soviet Union of American plans to help the French with
‘two last atomic bombs’. Viewed through the eyes of their ten-year-old
son, this espionage in the middle of the McCarthy era strains the marriage.

Thank you very much for your answer. With your contribution the sinking of the CV66 makes sense to me now at last. Perhaps they even tested the effectivity of some "Sunburns" - the military possibly acquired through "diplomatic mail"...
The "NONUKES"-theme I did hear a lot of times also from those who should know about. One ex-foreign-minister of an European country, some high military-brass from the former Eastern Block and one advizer around the ME...
I tend to believe that, because I learnt of the "weird problems" occuring when you explode Nukes to close to each other...
It's all simply scientific - or even "commercial" sometimes. ;-)
But there is still this "problem" with the rogue players - the PYR-RATS of our time - who want to "bargain" THEIR position more and more. It has nothing to do with "beliefs" or "extremists" - as they are mere patsies to these "Captain Morgans" of our times.
The "Skull and Bones"-flags are raised again. Sails hoist and gannons loaded...
And the web is very tangled. You only can estimate who plays WITH whom, when it all comes back to "family-relations"...
Dirty laundry.
Even states and "NGOs" are only used for PERSONAL PURPOSES and interests. Difficult to see through if you are not directly involved...
Like the duped men of the Light Brigade we should believe the lies of our leaders and sacrifice ourselves for their gain.
Nuthing new under the Sun. Burn!
