Two weeks ago courts order the removal of the feeding tube of the brain-damaged woman sparking a national debate. In a new column Hentoff wrote, "For all the world to see, a 41-year-old woman, who has committed no crime, will die of dehydration and starvation in the longest public execution in American history."... You already know me and my habits to analyze nearly everything through the lens of a financial perspective. However what I want to state here is that amimals and death row inmates in America have more rights than Terri and the strict botton line is that this is unacceptable, intolerable.
Euthanasia is not the real problem but how the topic is introduced and manipulated to serve a dark agenda. I am sure many parents wouldn't be able to deal with the thought of let's say, having conjoined twins or other severely disabled infants. One cannot enforce sainthood upon the people. I find the Dr Kervokian case disgusting and utterly hypocritical, **sane people** must be given the right to end their own lifes when terminally ill.
Yes, exceptions exist, hence the myth of the every societal model. Every time one is afraid of the possibility of the other's individual choice, ones gives the monopolies to power to decide of our lives, who can live or die. We do NOT solve the issue... Yes, terminate a pregnancy is TOO euthanasia, I won't deny that at all, but if you really want to put a stop to it or bringing the abortion rate down to a single digit, then organize yourselves an create small commmunities collecting the money to raise all those **unwanted kids**. Stating that it is a crime constantly while invoking the name of God is not going to change a thing. But let me tell you that if we didn't have a taxtion department, I would gladly donate such an endeavor on a monthly basis. Not to mention that fighting abortion this way IS the only fashion to act according to the Christian doctrine. Conclusion: take it to the banks and the IRS first and stop fighting among yourselves. It is our current mentality which must be changed. One cannot fight a disease with the same tools that created it.
