Federal investigators say the plane that crashed at Teterboro Airport last month may have been too nose-heavy to take off.
The National Transportation Safety Board updated its probe of the Feb. 2 crash in which a jet shot off the runway and across Route 46 before hitting a warehouse. No one died, but 20 people were hurt. The NTSB said the plane could had a center of gravity "well forward of the forward limit."
When that happens, the plane won't take off, according to experts.
Pilot John Kimberling said that when he tried to lift the nose, the controls appeared to jam. AP
